Gnoming around

Hey People.

I'm here to display some gnome pics that I took. Some of them are funny and others... well I'll leave you to judge for yourself!

It would be good to get this ball rolling and people can join in and submit their own gnome pics, since the garden gnome is one of the quirkiest and most annoying things of episode two.

hey... umm.. from what I've read.. I think you can only get it in chapter one unfortunately.

so.. if you're halfway or even at the end of episode two and don't have it, you're kinda stuffed :/

i found him somewhere when i was doing random stuff with my gravity suddenly it pops up under a plate (at the point were alyx first tries to contact eli)

I don't like this achievement, because I had left it with Alyx while I went to get the car and when you pull the lever let Alyx and the vortigaunt through it closes straight away so there's not enought time for me to run and get the gnome. I was pretty buggered =(

There looks to be just enough time, I haven't tried but I have made it to the gate as they step through. Still it looks easier to punt it across or onto the bridge.

Hey guys..
I just finished Episode two (don't worry, no spoilers here).


Anywayz, when I got to the rocket, I put the gnome in..and thought that was that..so..off I went.. to finish off the rest of the chapter, managed to save all the buildings from the striders etc and lo and behold, no gnome achievement unlocked at the end of the game.

I thought "what a gyp... I carried this lil' bastard throughout the whole game, and it doesn't even unlock"

So I went back to a saved game before putting the gnome into the rocket and guess what...you need to close the rocket hatch door. It may be obvious to some, but others might not remember to do this.

So.. I stress.. if you carried your lil garden friend throughout the whole game, please... close the rocket hatch door.

You'll regret it if you don't!

Just finished the Gnome achievement. God, what a pain in the ass. That really had a way of sapping the fun out of playing the game.
