actually...after going to this one lanfest i found that it seems a chunk of the gamer generation is in its 40s and really fat too. Imagine a lanfest where half the people are over 300 pounds, hairy, over 40, with B.O. and playing battlezone.

but yeah, I'm not to worried about ole Mister J. Thompson. People like him slowly burn through all their contacts and bridges, people will tire of his schpiel as is already the case, and a few years down the line the man will be warming his hands by an barrelfire out in the street while grown up gamers will pelt him with snowballs claiming video games made them do it.
