ya the World Junior Championship tourney.. i believe the age limit is 19..

I used to watch this leage where there would be about 4 or 5 fights a game, they would just take there gloves off and have a brawl, while the refs just stood there and watched. They didn't get sent off for doing it or anything.

OK, the refs dont get in between the fight right away if the guys are in the middle of it. They dont wanna be punched but if they can get in there before it starts like when they are mouthin off to each other then the refs will break it up. And once the guys start to get tired the ref will get in and break it up, also, both guys get a 5 minute penalty reguardless of who wins and who loses.

actually that stat has changed over the last 10 years or so.. these days 65% of hockey players are Canadian.. i don't remember the other percentages but yeah.. slowly the rest of the world is catching up

i got that 65% number from Hockey Night in Canada's Hot Stove segmen from last year.. interesting show indeed

i was so tempted to get the vintage Team Canada jersey.. the one with the old style leaf :cheese:
