Good idea, bad idea?

someone reply with the thread, i searched cant find.

people from experience tell me if going wireless keyboard and mouse is worth it?

less wiring? bad performance? distance e.g. lying down in bed watching porn on the tV and on the web. the works tell me if its worth getting it. ohh ya, dont forget use for game play too.

I've heard wireless mice are good. Never tried one, though.

I have however had a wireless keyboard. I bought a $40 logitech wireless last year. It seemed nice, I could use it up to about 30 feet away, but it sucked for gaming. Keys signals would "stick" resulting in one key still being pressed even after you let go of it. I returned it a day later. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but the one I had experience with was pretty poor.

Only real downfall to wireless keyboards/mice is they eat up batteries really quick. Most mice have chargers now though, so that's not a big deal.

I've only seen 2 wireless mice that have chargers so far.
Logitech's and some other brand...I forget.

Personally, I would not get a wireless mouse except for logitech's mx700 or their MX Duo.
My friend replaces his keyboard batteries every 2 months and the mouse has the rechargable base.
The performance on that wireless mouse is the same as the wired version.

That is the first good wireless mouse/keyboard I have heard reviews for really. Not sure if microsoft has changed their new wireless products for the better or not.

holy crap i saw the buttons on that mouse, how many small buttons does it have? i got realy used to my mouse and keyboard both by microsfot and i think t hey both are now discontinued =(

i dont konw man, that mx700 looked weird, did u guys see the price? 57 dollars, no way im spedning that much on a mouse, i can add that to my harddrive money, and get a 10000 rpm sata.

HOLLY SHIT!!! alt tab button!!! NICEEEEEEEEEEE

dam i didnt think it had crazy shit like that on it. the back forward buttons near tumb seems a little weird to me because my back is near tumb and forward is on other end of hte moust, near right finger.

i guess ill have to get used to it. but no prob man, that alt tab button just closed the deal for me
