I don't think it will let you play if it finds your system doesn't have the minimum requirements.

Counter-Strike: Source runs smoothly on my other computer which has..

P3 751MHz
384 SDRAM
GeForce 2 MX 64mb
some crappy intel mother board

Which are far under minimun requirements. only catch is the settings have to be set as low as possible and it only runs smoothly in LAN games it lags like crazy online. But thats what this comp is for

seriously :E say were driving down the freeway, and want to pass some one, and we have the air conditoner on?

We have to shut it off to give the engine enough power to pass

So everytime we do it its always "Divert all power to the engines scotty!"

And then the pasanger has to go "Im giving it all shes got captian!"

I think you better boost it to 110%... its a bit of a gamble, but you need the extra resolution!

Hehe, let us know. I seriously doubt it will even run. I know I tried to see how would Doom3 work on a machine with very similar config - didn't even run.

Yeah, I'm trying it on my AMD Athlon XP 1400+ ~1.4Ghz, 1 Gig of Ram, and an Nvidia Gefore3 TI 200 64 Mbs. It runs pretty smooth on CS: S acually. I was surprised myself. Setting are on about medium too.

All I have is amd 1900+, radeon 8500 and 512 dram. I'm sure I can run it with low detail. It's always silly when people post here asking if it will run on their super computers. I have understood that HL2 scales pretty well to low-end...

I also have a car like that . It's about 30 years old, and theres always something breaking in it. The battery charger and the battery were a bit busted one time, and I had to reserve power to keep engine running. I couldn't run it during night, because I had to turn the lights off to keep engine running. Seriously, everytime something gets fixed on that car, something else breaks down. It's a nice car though
