I've tried Kazaa, DC++, Bearshare... all dissapointed me.

Bittorrent. I really like ABC Client.

I use bittorrent.

edit : oh mein göt !! no spyware on Emule !! amazing

emule is to slow mircs pretty good and bittorent is good to both are fast

I agree. It's spyware and adware free. It connects to things like bearshare and that, I think. And it's got a really nice looking interface.

someone should make a poll out of all these choices, i have been looking for a p2p program also :)

EDIT: seems like a lot of people like eMule, i am trying this one out first.

kazaa LITE is good.....don't go for normal kazaa nowadays. it f*ked my system right up last time i put it on

Kazaa Lite Revolution.

Better than the K++ edition... I haven't had any problems yet, and it really has alot over K++. Get it NOW.

ares lite?

Still full of spyware. Its no good. Also, the Fasttrack network (or is it fastrack) is dying, less and less users every day (thats kazaa)

Isn't Limewire dead? Mine hasn't picked up anything in about 2 years. :p

Yeah i use kazaa lite myself, unfortunately they were making craploads of money illegally and were shutdown. But emule is quite good so i hear. Bittorrent is ok too, but its a whole other animal.

heh.. I still get stuff on it, maybe I should try the emule network..

How do you guys even find good users to recieve files from? Seems like an incredibly hard and often unsuccessful trial and error. Whenever I use Kazaa, or emule, every single file is always waiting to find more hosts, and even if a file has like 50 people with the file, it never sends at a decent speed. Ugh.

I'm a P2P noob!

Go for Kazaa Lite, it's the best. Hard to find, but worth your while.

don't use kazaa at all. everything is logged [ there was an article about it i found from dailyrotation ].

I've found that eMule and other bittorent programs are good unless your heavily firewalled, or firewalling the wrong ports. It can get really slow if you are.

Kazaa and kazaa lite are quite different in many respects, like that one for instance.

You should use BitTorrent, ABC is the best client I know of.
The rest is nothing but "please give me money"-software.

ABC sucks, azuerus is far better.

bittornado is the worst of the worst

Yep Azureus is the w1n. :)
Apart from BT and maybe Mirc when i am stretched, it's all i use. No Limewire or Kazaa for me, nobody shares.

Emule is probably the most useless pile of crap ive used ever. Try out soulseek it is simply amazing, bit torrent is only good if you have loads of files.

What's that skippy?

People should stop pirating things?
Nah, i think he said someone's stuck down a well.

As for P2P programs i use eMule, Kazaa lite and shareaza.

I've started not pirating anything at all.

I used to download a few tracks, see if I liked them and then buy the album, but now I just watch music channels, or listen to internet radio and buy the album.

Are we allowed to post links to where you can download these programs?

WTF why hasnt this been closed? I mearly mentioned file copying in anouther thread and it was closed, three pages? Uh?

Nothing wrong with discussing the pros and cons of filesharing utilities.
