eminem is a great lyricist

his flow is so great. theres a reason that song won an oscar.

Anything mainstream, people automatically say it sucks. Too bad, there's actually some good rap out there too.

You can't just make some blanket statement that covers everything. Although becoming mainstream DOES fill the genre with a bunch of crap, there's always an exception to EVERYTHING.

And if you just don't like rap, then all the more power to you.
