The last game i was playing just had a major update and now completely sucks
So I'm looking for a new free game

Anyone know any good ones?
Games where you kill people are prefered. :D

Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory

or abandoware:
System Shock 2
Freespace 2

not really full games, but experimentalgameplay.com has some nice things to play with.

www.the-underdogs.info Biggest abandonware site on the internets, it's standard domain is the-underdogs.org and that has expired and they're trying to get a hold off that.
As Crisis King said so is Abandonia also good

Mmmm abandonware, old games with crappy graphics and no mp

Know of any decent mmo thats updated occasionally?
a la runescape, rakion, gunbound, maplestory etc

Well what did you expect when you asked for "good free games"? ;)

I don't know many mmo's but for fps' try Enemey Territory or America's Army (but you already probably know of those games).

Though not a shooting game.........but still!

Glad you like it. Maybe we could play a game sometime.:)

Entropia
Graphics are worse than WoW for an MMORPG, but its probably the only online game, where you can actually make money.....

....Real money, as in draw it out of a ATM, look inside for details. Thats the only draw for me, except for the fact that there is no subscription fee as such.

To get a head start in the game, you will have to put down a deposit from your credit/debit card, tools and that ingame cost real money

I read about that a while ago, seems like the odds are incredibly stacked against you from even dreaming about profitting from it.

Can you have any kind of fun without paying any real money? For example, is the only way to get a weapon is to actually buy one with cash? hahaha **** tht

Meh it's too old. Most people (including me) lost interest after a few weeks. I used to be a fine driver (right shaker? right jimbo? ;)) and got high on the world ranking list, but that was like ages ago. In the weeks after it came out. If you really want to play a few tracks with people, find them via PM or invite them on xfire. /GBR OTMB server is really good, the drivers are skilled and nice, the tracks are awesome. But really I don't know if it's still online. If it is, join it once. If you ask for my name, the clan will probably remember me :).

yeah you were awesome, man the trackmania demo was a blast, so addictive.

Have you tried TM:sunrise, it's a lot better and you have like hundreds of user made tracks.

This site is awesome!!

Tower of Goo is insanely awesome :D :D

yeah that site is awesome, they had the creators on G4. It's in the archives of G4's site, pretty neat to watch.

Not release yet but BattleStar Galactica: Beyond the Red Line

it's built on the freespace 2 engine (from when FS2 went open source)

I hate how they screwed over Rakion ;(
I know D:
All i played was 1v1 and the new scoring system screws it up completely
And the new damage thing is awful -_-

I used to love gunbound XD
I havent played the other three
Which should i try first?

I hate America's army. Ive tried to play it many times (3) and I had no trouble with training, but online I don't like it. It's not even that you have to be patient, it's mostly that everything feels quirky, crappy and slow. That and the game is so drab visually, I just can't stand playing it for more than 10 rounds.

Yeah, I don't like America's Army either. The first one I would recommend is Enemy Territory. Objective based MP, best online game mode of all time.

Try Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory first.

Yeesh, Everyone certainly likes Wolf:ET...
I personally hate it, it's too damn fast-paced for me.
I like the slower-paced games like Call of Duty or the Battlefield series, where you actually have to aim.

Mate got me into Wolf: ET for a bit, didn't really have any farking idea what I was doing though. Got pretty good at medic (good enough that I stopped getting yelled at in team chat for not ressing anywho).

Oh, and... Warning Forever!!

ENEMY TERRITORY

Best game you'll ever get for free (legally of course lol)

Discworld MUD, but you must sacrifice your graphic-loving ways for the thrill of sitting there and looking at numbers and letters.

Trackmania: Sunrise is not free.
