good host?

id need a good host wich allows direct linking!! and that has lots of host space... at least 30-50 megs... to host all my stuff (mostly images and stuff...)

or as nw909 suggests, your computer, if your connection has a fast enough upspeed that is or it'll annoy too many people waiting forever to access the images, also be aware your cable provider may or may not allow it in their T&C and if they don't then you may risk losing your connection entirely. Best check with them first. If they ok it then sort out a decent web server, IIS is ok for beginners (easy to setup) but its so full of exploits its more trouble than its worth really. Apache is pretty good but not for a beginner. You could always try something on *cough* linux. Personally its better to just pay a company instead, less hassles for you and if it gets broken into it wont be your own machine and files thats exposed.

my own cpu is out of the question... too much electricity used (and i have a limit on uploads/downloads so...) but ill try these hosts u said
