My brother started playing Morrowind again, and I suddenly have the weird urge to give it another shot, this time I'll try to enhance it with mods.

Also I don't have any of the expansions so yeahhh...

Better Bodies and Heads are all you need. Seriously, MW's vanilla character models had ridiculously large shoulders.

PENIS!

Honestly, that's what it does.. sad really... But there are different versions of this one EXE mod installer for better bodies, there the complete nude version, permenant underwear (black boxer-briefs, not the leoperd underwear that comes with Morrowind), and the Peanut Gallery Version (only females are nude), I use the underwear one, it makes it look better without the PENIS!

Personally i think that mods ruin games, and one as good as this should not be touched its great the way it is in my opinion. But thats one guys opinion.

In this case your opinion is shite, Mods add SO much to Morrowind its almost a new game. Sure MW IS a great game in vanilla mode but once you've played it once, mods add a whole new layer.

On a related note, I've just this week actually settled into Morrowind, and now, I want mods.

I bit the bullet and signed up to fileplanet just to get access to mods from planetelderscrolls/morrowind, but when I ask to download a mod, it still asks me to pay a subscription to fileplanet, even when I'm logged in.

Am I missing something painfully obvious here? I don't mind looking like more of an idiot but I can't see anyway to get access to these mods. Google ain't showing anything either.

Don't worry. You have a subscription to fileplanet. There's nothing on earth that can make you look like more of an idiot.
