Good multiplayer RTS's

Looking for a Strategy game that has a good multiplayer and a good community to back it. I was thinking C&C3 or WiC, currently I have CoH but although it's an awesome game I like to have something a little faster on the go... and it seems to be getting less popular online now? ;( Supreme Commander seemed extremely hyped but where did all that go? Didn't it meet expectations?

Still has a community? I actually installed it a week ago it came free with CoH, it's so alike you can see where most of the ideas came from when making CoH. Maybe too similar.

Supreme Commander is a RTS of fail. It's the only RTS I didn't like in some way, shape, or form since RA2.


If you want a "fast" RTS (aka rushz0rz pl0x), Starcraft's still active.

Command & Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour is great for multiplayer (SP is weak though) and quite fast passed. My favourite generals are demo and airforce.

I'm just kidding, try Dawn of War. Get the multi-pack on Steam so you can play as all the races. The community is still quite active, so the mod scene is good, and a new expansion comes out next year.
