Good news on Bush Front

On the Iraq front i could not agree less, the result may be debatable but the premises were definitly lot, Bush told lies knowingly and without remorse, that is not what a president should do.
since when did he lie? show me an article saying he lied

Okey doke, give me a mo and i'll try and dish up some things

This is a republican son of a republican president, that's pretty good.(cheers sprafa)

I shall find more actual links sooner or later i promise but i must goto bed, last night was tough on me and my friend tequila and i have no right still being up.

Coverage i shall find has included several points regarding the fact the Bush administration had planned a war on Iraq from before reaching office despite specifically stating that it was a reaction to Saddam's regime and its involvement in the war on terror.

The mission accomplished debacle, did you know that the sign at the back was blamed on sailors! It was actually ordered by white house communications. The whole administration bases itself around lying whenever it can. In fact i think that article mentions some of these things i ahve read a afew recently. Anyways, try that on for size it comes from your side of the fence. I shall work on finding some more soon.

P.S. go read some of Hunter S Thompson's stuff about Bush http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/archive?columnist=hunter_s._thompson&root=page2 has some in it.

The stuff about the superbowl is great. I didn't know Bush claimed he fell asleep before the superbowl was over so as to avoid commenting on the nippledate affair...god i hate using gate after words...anyways.

The man is pathological and how you can want him in office is beyond me. Why would the democratic option be a bad one?

Hahahaha come on man. Ron Reagan is a liberal. He spoke at the DNC. Just because his father was Republican doesnt mean he is. And you do realize you just posted a link from esquire.

Assuming that last bit is "going to do," you could always impeach him for something or other. :p

I realise these things... why does that matter, when you read the mans words you mustn't be prejudiced by their source, or if you are which can make snse, at least try and appreciate them beyond that bias. A few of the things he said are distortions, i agree, however the guy makes a lot of very good points!

Go find your own articles while i sleep, i shall be back and i shall find some more objective pieces. However, show me some evidence Bush has been honest! It would be nice for the republicans to defend themselves rather than consistently demand proof without their own.

Go look to the CIA, MI5, or the Russian Intelligence Agency. They all thought Saddam had WMD prior to the invasion, heck, he still may have shipped them off or hidden them.

This is why I pointed out that he was a liberal, you tried to make it seem like he was a conservative like his father.

Manitoba became the fifth juristdiction of Canada to legalize same-sex marriage thursday after a judge declared the province's current definition of marriage unconstitutional.

The others are British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and the Yukon territory.

Oooh, aren't we canucks dangerously liberal! Fear us! :borg:

seinfeldrules, not the justification argument again ..you know you dont have a leg to stand on, dont make me bring up those questions you can never answer

wow shellback and senfeld both get maturity points!
You know since stern obviously isn't gay, and since he isn't homophobic, I don't think that little joke really bothered him as much as you'd have liked.

so what if he made same sex marriage legal, legalised abortion, seperated church and state, and publically apologised for iraq?

Call it a union - okay

Legalized aborton - not okay (even though it is already legal)

Seperated Church and State - Wouldn't be happy, but I can understand the reasons why

Apologized for Iraq - I would be rather happy about that.

i should clarify that. FOR early (1st trimester) abortions, AGAINST later abortions (mid 2nd-3rd trimester). though ideally all would be illegal, if i had to make a concession, thats what it would be.

i also agree with civil unions, i dont agree with gay marriages in the religious sense.

i dont believe the iraq war was "wrong" to begin with, as arguments can be made both ways very convincingly.
you've got weird morals

"Call it a union" - no call it a marriage

"Legalized aborton - not okay " - it's their choice to make not yours

"Seperated Church and State - Wouldn't be happy, but I can understand the reasons why" - needs to be done

"Apologized for Iraq - I would be rather happy about that" - I'm surprised you'd say that but I agree ...oh and withdrawing would be nice too :)
