For the first time in what some fear will signal a growing trend, Google Inc. has banned and removed a mainstream news website from all its worldwide search engines, seemingly due to the website's reports on China's geopolitical affairs and military technology.
Space War is a reasonably tame mainstream website that focuses on geopolitical affairs and satellite and military technology advancements. It is based in Australia and carries articles from AFP and United Press International

 Maybe google really are evil.

every thread you start comes with a source from prison planet - i mean a blind monkey can tell its a worse source of news then a tabloid/rag
for the love of whatever gods you pray to, stop visiting that cesspit - there are far better internet sites out there that cover left wing issues

I think Solaris has officially been pwned. The honor is all yours, mortiz.

Anyway, Solaris, have you learned your lesson? DON'T TRUST PRISON PLANET.

Google has awesome services for base employees. Did you know they cook meals 100% free for their employees? Fresh, and all the time, so the employees are content. I watched it on food network, and there's such an AMAZING variety of food you can have there, since there's such a cultural diversity in the company.

I wanna work there just for all the great, free food!

Wasn't it Prison Planet who said Sharon was dead?

Yes, I remember Solaris posting that, believing prison planet over all other news sources who said otherwise.

Prisonplanet sound as bad as the Daily Fear/Hate/Mail.

You win guys, you win.

I'm hanging this up as a placard. Something that should of been said ages ago.

Silly Solaris. Maybe you should start to open your mind and get information for MANY DIFFERENT SOURCES. No wonder you always take one side and stick to it.

I do. And if it was never banned I wouldn't be able to get information from other sources becuase it never happened, but it did so there.

I keep reading that as scalarwaves, rather than spacewar.

Government programs to feed the poor are replaced with programs that give out free glowsticks. :D

Let's just end this with this:

The very idea of communism is deeply flawed.

You can't argue that a system is perfect but human nature is flawed - the system is therefore imperfect as it fails to take into account human nature.

Communism and communist ideals are based on a 19th Century view of the world - and the ideal communist method of production (the proto-factory/artisan labour) actually accelerates the development of a capitalist system.

Marxist theory has been disputed and overturned time and time again with regards to it's ineffective and over-simplistic attitude to history. The crux of the idea is that a man's relation to the economic base determines his political views and associations. This again, is quite simply a gross oversimplification, as with almost all Marxist/Communist theory.

Class structure was never the deciding factor in where people draw the line - personal and regional concerns are more of an influence. Class consciousness is a negliable force (it's very existance is debatable) and today's society, while it could benefit from being more socialist - is decidedly 'class-mobile'

[Though I despite the word 'class' and all it's conetations, I had to use it to explain my arguement]

I thank you.

Communism doesn't work. Communists and marxists are idealists and anyone who doesn't admit that communism does not work in real life is an idiot.

I'm an idealist as well, though anarchist, but at least i admit it'd require a small community of likeminded people to work.

Communism is great!

.....If you are a robot with no personal aspirations only a need for plain survival.

communism is flawed in its ideals yes but only when you really think about it. problem is, it sounds good when you discuss it in basic ideas, so idiots tend to attach themselves to it and then grab a red flag and defend it to the death because they're not smart enough to actually think about it.

All I can say is If they find more signs of Higgs Boson's in the latest particle accelerator's, then using scalar waves as a mocking phrase becomes null and void.

I'm not saying its perfect.

Thats why Lenin was so strict with the petis bourogeis.

Maybe, I haven't read that much into marxism really.

Doesn't matter, I'm a socialist :p

I wonder if communism would work in small groups? ie villages and actual communes?
An interesting system would be anarcho-capitalism with all invidivual bodies actually being communist themselves. Ahar.

A technocracy is the appointment of leaders based on their intelligence. It's pretty much rule by scientists.

Yes, its probably quite oppressive, but YOU GET SCIENTISTS RULING THE PLACE.

Given a choice of non-democratic governments to pick from, I'd so become a Technocrat.

Oh, that'd be my second best choice for goverment. (The first one being a corporate military police state, which has no term for its own but exists anyway)
