Inspired from the scene in Jaws where they compare scars.

My only real scars are on my right hand and wrist from the time I put my hand through a window to grab someone who'd attacked/made racist comments to a girlfriend at the time.

The weird part was I ended up in the same bed, in the same ward, with the same nurses, with the same cuts and the same damage to my tendons in the same hand, caused by my hand going through glass.. exactly like the girls ex before I was with her, who'd also put his had through a sheet of glass.

Funky.

Your turn...

My right middle knuckle(the big one) I have a scar from when I punched a kid that had braces, and I got them stuck to my knuckle, had to punch him with my left hand.

i have some small scars and a big one i had made smaller a wihle back. from when i was a baby, i was premature and in an incubator... the tubes left marks but also i got a calapsed lung and other problems, the tubes had the be taken out quickly, the nurse pulled too hard and took some of my skin off. And i have a pernament guitar shaped scar on my right hand. And some minging skin under my right armpit :p

I fell on the corner of a brick as a kid, shin first. Had stiches, the day i had the stiches removed i got in a fight with my brother and he kicked me right in the newly healed wound completely opening it up again. More than 10 years later it's just a very thin piece of skin over the bone.

I have scars on my back from something....physio said it was stretch marks from growing. Looks like scars though as if someone has scratched with long sharp nails.

I have a scar on top of my left hand and one on my left wrist (bottom) near the main vain (like a cm away)...Both was caused from a dog biting me.I ended up getting two stitchs for the wrist scar.

Then I have a couple on my legs...1 on my left knee. Also I have 1 on my right arm from where a spider bit me...it's kinda big.

Heh, same as me.

Just that above, a small dent in my forehead from headbuting a concrete flower pot and some chicken pox scars from to much scratching. :hmph:

My neck and right arm. Scar on my right arm is barely visible anymore though; infact, it's almost gone. Got it when I really little.

I have a pretty nice one on my right hand, from running with my arms swinging around when I was 6 or 7, and smashing it into the handle of a bike. :D

I recall it bleeding white stuff instead of blood, that was pretty freaky.

holy shit icarus i got one on my left index knuckle for the exact same reason!!! :)

I've got one really big scar on one of the knuckles of my right hand, got into a little scrap a while ago, the punch I gave him must of hurt me bloody hand more than it did his face! (I tried not to show it of course :p).

Another right by right eye, on the side of the nose - That one was a bit dodgy too - a basketball from nowhere went bang into my face lol. I was a little dazed, but as I took my hands away from my face they were covered in blood - a bit suprising at the time.

The only "real" scar I have is on my skull (I rammed my head into a heater when I was little). My barber is the only one who actually ever sees it, I can only feel it with my fingers. My "other" scars cover most of my upper body. Rapid weight gain can cause tearing of the skin, so my upper body is full of scars.

In the back of my head and on my left hand. I picked up a broken bottle, it slipped out of my hand, TAADAAAA!!! Blood all over the place

Only scar I have is this pathetic line on my finger - when I was a kid my parents, in a stroke of genious, bought me a microscope kit that had a scalpel with it... managed to slice off a load of flesh on my middle finger, right to the bone!

Woah.. those tearing marks are what I have from yesterday.. they kinda look like really old scars right? but without any stitch marks?, twisting or stretching too fast or something they said in my case.. It's supposed to fade away since the skin didn't actually tear properly. Just down the right side where I was hit from, im guessing the upper part of my body bent too far or something (no i didn't have a seat belt on.. that learnt me)

Really creeps me out though to think of skin tearing like that.. I mean, it makes sense but I never thought about it before.. *shivers*

I have one on my left thumb too, but it was from a piece of broken glass sticking out from a garbage bag.

freaky......lol

Hehe this isn't actually me but my brother has a huge diagonal scar on his forehead - When he was little he tripped up some stairs somewhere in London (a tube station I think) and smashed his head

I've got scars all over my right hand from punching through my car window after my crash, and several long ones down the backs of my legs where I was hit with a rake.

who hit u with a rake .....lol

I have a scar on my forehead. It is where I cracked it open when I was about 2 years old. I fell out of a boat...which at the time was sitting on concrete :(

I used to have very scared knees from a time I fell over when I was younger. I scraped off most of the scin and what little flesh there was. You could practically see my knee caps. Over time they have faded and in fact my knees look perfectly healthy now.

Between my thumb and pointer finger. Like not on my pointer finger, but down from there.

I was cutting heads of power rangers and glueing them on ninja turtles. With a dagger :x

Took me a while to get that...then I was like "oooooohhhhhh" :)

Hmm all these topics are actually brightening up the forums :p

And Sparrow, I too used to have the worst knees imaginable - the sheer amount of times I tripped over when I was little - It was like a daily thing you know - I was really clumbsy :(

I used to love dismantling my GI Joes and putting them back together with different parts. I used to play bio wars and they'd get contaminated and grow together and schtuff. Used to pop my sister's barbies' heads off, too. Ah, those were the days.

Yeah, I used to pull the heads off my cousins barbies and flush them down the toilet. :D

I've got a tiny scar on my arm. I burnt it on the edge of an oven door. So I picked at it so it would become a scar. I was going to tell people I got it in a knife fight.

lol

I used mine for catapult ammo for my lego castles and forts.

Used her barbie heads as 'Lost Souls' to attack my lego people and GI Joes, too. Doom inspired my life so much.

I used to have Huge battles with lego castles and green army men.

And the few G.I. Joe's and ninja turtles I had as commanders.

Good times. I miss them.

Yeah, sometimes I wish I could be young again. But then, video games came and the good times were never the same. :(

I have a shitload of scars. Most of them are just from falling down from trees when I was younger. My left thumb is flat and has a great scar after I acidentally put it in a wood cleaving machine with a 25ton force straight on my finger. (That one hurt) . I also have a big scar on the back of my leg after being cut by the lid of a tin can in a big litter bag (I was carrying it down from our cabin when I slipped on some ice and got cut). The last big scar is from a moped accident. I was driving off-road and something happened getting my foot stuck between a rock and the foot-resting-pedal-thing. I've been in my share of accidents in addition to these, so I'll just stick to my computer nowadays.

Let's just say that my knees and elbows don't like highspeed and gravel very much anymore.

Oh and my palm isn't very fond of swiss army knives either.

On my right knee where i fell over and on the inside of my thumb on my right hand. We were all racing on bikes and something got stuck in the front wheel, the bike stopped and i went straight over the handlebars into a concrete bollard at 25mph, luckily my head hit the bollard first instead of anything more serious, slashing my thumb open.

do burns count? if so, after finishing mowing the lawn one hot summers day i was returning the 'ol lawn mower to its rightful place in this shed and low and behold it got stuck! so in my infinite wisdom i reached down to push/shove it, and completely unexpected to me, the engine casing was hot! and i mean really hot, hot enough to seemingly 'melt' the skin on my palm, ooooh yes that was enjoyable, having a palm completely smooth and devoid of lines or anything.

thankfully I wasn't a complete fool and managed to pull my hand away from the blistering pain, and the skin has now completely healed itself... wouldn't even know i cooked it.

burns are the worst kind of pain.
