Got my copy of Dead Space today! + 60"

This game is AMAZING!!!!! Best lighting in a game yet!!! Gory as hell .best animations , Cant put it down!!!!

On a 60" HDTV LCD I was just playing Crysis and decided to try it out. Its a must get guys.
Gotta go.



















Still need to find a job though .

Honestly people is it that hard to understand how image tags work.
 
Not everybody lives on the Internet and knows how everything works.

I know how it works i think its cause i have my pc hooked up to my tv i dont know.

WTF? No demo. I see, so they thought the hype and good reviews were enough, right? WRONG.

I never buy a game before I try it out for myself...
 
Use common sense:

The URLs you were putting between your image tags were like this: http://img291.imageshack.us/my.php?image=019wa0.jpg

That is a link to a page with the image embedded into it. You can see that for yourself. Also note the url, it's a php command, not a direct link to an image like something.com/image.jpg

So, what makes you think the image tag is going to know which image on that page you want? There's no magic involved here. You need to give the image tag a direct link to the image itself.

Makes sense, right?

So uh... there's actually an animated movie that has the prequel story to Dead Space. I saw the trailer on an anime movie i bought...
 
Damn this slew of releases! I can't keep up! Won't buy this straight away, but from what I've seen recently this has become a must-buy, eventually. I was initially put off this game simply by an incredibly annoying developer voiceover on one of the early gameplay vids. The guy kept making really inappropriate jokes about all the gory events occurring and the misfortunes of the crew, and made the terrible error of laughing at his own jokes. I've had enough time to forgive them now.

Anyone who thinks this thread is about Dead Space is severely lacking in brain function.
 
I don't reckon it looks as good as a console unless u got it on rape resolution
 
Meh, doesn't compete with my 120" projector, biatch! I just project mah porn onto the neighbouring apartment building!

It's not an anim?, it's a cartoon feature film, made by Americans.
 
Looks ****in' nice, man. Just entered a competition for a 50" telly, snowball's chance in hell of getting it but damn it'd be nice. Not going to be able to afford one for ages, too many things taking priority. :(

Looks awesome... for about few hours. It looks like killing off necromorphs one after another will get bit teddy annoying.

The story is supposedly good, and tons better than Resident Evil's.

Not that it's an achievement of any sort, as any story is better than RE's.
 
the thread title is misleading ....did you purchase a 60" tv to go along with dead space or you already had it? if you just purchased the tv, werent you recently unemployed? also should you be playing video games or concentrating on a finding a job? I mean 10 years at a linen and things doesnt qualify you for a heck of a lot, so I'd start looking if I were you ..before the christmas rush when everyone is looking for a retail job for extra money ...in jan or feb no one is looking for employees to fill positions, cuz they just let go of the holiday staff

so for your own good, you should probably give me the 60" tv ..the game can go to someone who actually gives a fuk :)
 
I still find the game kind of generic

looks like any thipical dark game whit generic monster that shakes heads violently to look scary

even though the setting feel original,it still looks generic

I've had the tv for about 2 years now.
I still have a job for a few months gonna live off the nice severance check plus bonus. After the LNT im gonna live off of unemployment checks lol after all i payed for them.
Gonna hybernate for a while then get a job next october november when everyones looking to hire agian.

Sounds good?
 
I had a 42" TV and downgraded to a 32"... bigger isn't always better, it made my eyes water I was sitting so close, lol.

I wasn't being serious, however, one of my neighbours at the place where my dad used to live did sometimes use his projector on the opposite apartment building with funny results.:)
 
Im like 30 mins into Chapter 2. Game is ****ing amazing. Love the Holo menus!

Will be getting this game as soon as I get something that will run it nicely.
