Who would you award the Game of the half-year 2004?

I've tried to put up the best games I could possibly think of. Remember, it's only up till summer, and the current releases.

Personaly, I wouldn't vote for any of the games listed. I don't think that there have been any decent releases so far this year.

Unreal Tournament 2004! It's by far the best game I've played this year (that came out this year :p).

far cry ....most revolutionary of the games this ...half year

if I had not have played Riddick I would have said the same thing.

Riddick owns it however hands down, on every front (story, sound, graphics etc)

I've been meaning to rent Riddick ..maybe sometime after Doom3, HL2, MoH PA etc :)

I'd probably have to give my vote to UT2004...its just too good with too much value.

Unreal Tournament 2004, from its mods to it addictive gameplay its simply a winner. Far Cry comes in second.

far cry!

it's so freaking intense and fun, and the dialogue makes me laugh..which is a good think in my book

rent it now!
seriously you are missing out
riddick has dynamic shadow and lighting, normal mapping, specular, blah blah
it looks and runs more impressively than Farcry (just lower rez)
the story rules, the voice talent is awesome, the attentiont to detail is mind boggling.
seriously I had more fun playing Riddick, than the first time I played through HL (and thats saying something, since HL used to be my fave game of all time)

I've been meaning to play it but I have so little time. My brother highly recommended it so I'll get to it sooner or later

Far cry by far.

Is Chronicles of Riddick For pc if so i will buy it.

My vote goes to "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher bay"

I concur, I voted for Riddick too. It's basically better than Far cry and it has a better story too. I wish it was more than 8 hours, though.

took me about 20hrs, off an on however I played on hard.. and I had to get used to using dern controllers again.

UT2k4 by far.

far cry was too boring for me, im still only half way through. it dodnt add anything new to the genre other than big, boring islands, and it takes more than shiny graphics or amazing phisics to win TGOTY imo...

ill complete it one day.

Aye, but your average xbox guy who knows his controller can dealt with riddick within 8 hours, at any difficulty.

what the hell is Rallisport Challenge 2 ?

I don't have any of those games.. I think I'm starting to lag behind in the gaming trend.

A great sequel to an equally kick ass rally game from the makers of PGR.

I voted for 'other' since I have been playing Battlefield Vietnam basically non-stop for the last 4 months. It isn't a very big improvement over BF1942 but it caught me and I am hooked. Can't wait for BF2.

Thief 3, really didn't disappoint after they patched it of course, but still great.

And the Shalebridge Cradle level is one of the greatest level design pieces ever.

Amen.

I didn't really even LIKE Far Cry. :bonce:

UT 2004 for me

but I do feel kinda funny voting seeing as I haven't played Riddick or Rallywhatever. Mind you I don't like driving games so I doubt it would do owt for me.

All of the games listed pretty much suck in my opinion.

You've got to be kidding me! If you don't like ANY of those you don't like videogames.

Chronicles of Riddick(only xbox game I`ve played since halo).
