Anyone here do graffiti? I don't do it on like property or stuff, kinda stupid.... Show your work if you have any....

nice one... pat thetic.... dont do grafiti its destruction of property.

i hate graffiti, because most of the time "not their property" is... the side walk, or a sign. and i dont want to look at someones god damn tag when im going somewhere. usually i have stickers that i put on them.

The ones which consist mainly of marker pen and say things like "Ken luvs Kyle" i dont like.

But when you get really skilled people who do it, it looks nice. However, when it isnt warranted then its kinda annoying because its defacing someones property.

I think in France though, there was a town, or suburb of a city where they actully hired graffiti artists to go all over the walls to make the place look. I saw it ina library book so i dont ahve any pictures but it looked alot nicer after it had been drawn over. It was just tag names, although they did leave some, most of it was pictures and those weird things where they draw holes and stuff.

Nah, if I were to do it it would be on like storm drains and stuff. Not on sidewalks, a lot of my friends do it on like arcades and crap and it makes me mad..gr. And I'm talking about like the art, not the bob loves sue crap.

~gasp~ New Flavour!!! Triple damn good!!! ~drool~

Yeah there's some pretty cool/artistic graffiti around where I live, there was actually a debate a few years back as to whether the council should clean it up or not, and they ended up leaving most of it there (even on public property... with consent), because it'd been there for awhile and made the town a kind of landmark. Some of it's really wicked, and a photo developing place (shake it!) employed some graffiti artists to tag the side of their store, looks AWESOME. The council also built a skatepark to keep the skaters out of public libraries and such :P It's pretty damn cool too, although I don't use it, it's fun to run around with mates at 3am.

We have a building by me where there's graffiti ALL over the thing, most of it sucks but there are a couple good/funny ones. One of the ones that was like the best one for the longest time got tagged over by some guys shitty one that was just his name. Still to this day pisses me off. :frown:

I'll take some pictures of the good ones tommorow. :E

Crappy little one-colour tags with bad spelling, no. Hatethemhatethemhatethem.

Cool colourful murals and logos, heck yes! I love those things. They add much needed flare to plain railway fences and drab industrial lots. Just not on historic property like Flinders St Station. But then again, I suppose the actual graffti artists wouldn't want to damage historical landmarks.
