GT4 is available via import from japan...

GT4 mobile is out in Spring 05 (hopefully the end of march in time for the PSP euro/america release)

can wait for GT4 mobile on PSP, apprently its going to be a DIRECT port of the ps2 version since the creators claim the psp is just a bit more powerful than a ps2 at its resoultion.

I can remember they wanted to release the online as a seperate game (gold digging mofo's ) because it was'nt perfect (which lets face it, GT is a perfect game when all said and done).

Well I have to say GT4 does look pretty hot, but I've never been that much into racing games. Carmageddon is good though

Futuristic racing games have always been my passion: Wipeout (as a series), F-Zero GX, Extreme G III, even XBox's Quantum Redshift was good for a rental.

Real racing: haven't really played anything for a long length of time since RalliSport Challenge (first one). That and Need for Speed (for the arcadey racing)

I think the most realistic racing game out there is FIA GTR, I think that makes GT 4 look like a acrade game, but I do like GT 4 alot, I was just really impressed withe the phyics of the FIA GTR.

I hate GT soooooooooooooooo much. It's just like driving in real life. Wow I never heard of a realistic driving experiance, oh wait it's called a car.

I hate GT as well. The driving model feels unresponsive, imprecise, clunky, and incredibly unsatisfying. It starts off far too hard with no help whatsoever with the arcane physics. The game itself is infuriating. It pissed me off even more than stuntman. I ask you: what is your definition of fun? Is it a one-hour endurance race round the same track over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again where one mistake on the last lap would mean you had to do it all again? It is? Then you should like GT.

Burnout. Now there's a racing game.

A friend of mine imported GT4. It's the best racing game I've ever played. And my friend is REALLY into cars and racing games, and he absolutly loves it (he's also a huge Inital D fan). It's his favorite as well.

Burnout. Now there's a racing game.

Burnout is a crashing game. GT is a racing game.
Not to say Burnout isn't awesome.

It's just like driving in real life.

The box says "Driving Simulator"... wtf did you expect?

No, it's about half the power of a PS2; maybe a little more.

Anyway, I've played it. It's awesome; and I'm not even a huge racing game fan either... but I'm going to buy it on the 22nd.

I suppose you either love it or hate it. And whether it's a good game or not, I don't find it fun, or even vaguely enjoyable. However I accept that there's a difference between a good game and a game that I like, and a difference between a bad game and a game that I don't like.
