As far as I'm aware, Ikerous, it's all accurate. There's a bit more to it, but still.

I have to agree with Razor, I find it disturbing that the US can have such messy elections, let a guy get into power who didn't win the election and then let him go and spread democracy around the world. Quite frightening if you ask me.

And yeah, the tune's from GTA, the first one - when it first came out me and my mate recorded it for our walkmans quality beatz!

America hasn't ever been a democracy, it's a republic.

Could i ask, why isn't America like other countries with a president, where by, you have a president, a vice president (who would be the head of state) and then have a prime minister who does all the running?

if we're gonna discuss this we have to keep it friendly and know that this IS NOT personal or aimed at any specific forum user
(plus this should be done properly and not be a hijacking of a OT thread, lol )

in america you have no say, you have no voice at all, your also quite choiceless when choosing state heads as they basicly decide who they want. I don't get why americans think their free, somewhat low taxes, low gas prices, does that make you free? Nobody has a clue what goes on in the higher places (by the way thats not the publics fault ofcourse but the public isent exactly doing a lot about it) this could be avoided by looking at other counrtries and see how well their system works

(go democracy! by the way if anyone thinks that democracy means publicly voting about every single little thing, you are wrong, it means letting people choose a partie that has the same politics as them and letting them talk on your half, this also makes it [almost] impossible to have a corrupt gouverment)

HL2.net never had a lot of conservative reactionarys.. but the ones we have are so loud, obnoxious, and stuborn that any political discussion would become a political debate, and any political debate would degenerate into "Youre stupid", "No, you're stupid"...

Those users obviously were not here for the community, but instead to argue. And they are still here, but only in the Political forum!

So we can bash this ****ed up government in peace, here in Off Topic, as long as none of them catch wind of this.
