I finished this this evening.

Fairly good game, I enjoyed it. Sad ending though, hopefully in the next episode it will be a happy ending :)
I enjoyed the crossovers with the original game. For example, having to kidnap Roman.

Anyone else played it yet?

Downloading it now.

Pretty big, hope it is worth it!

having to kidnap Roman.

It's a good thing I'm not a spoiler whore.

I'm just a few missions in, enjoying it thoroughly. I actually think the grainy filter makes the game look better.

Few questions to owners of DLC;

How many missions?
How many new vehicles/weapons? (not that important)
Any new locations, areas or environments?

Roughly, how long has it taken you to finish? (regarding your pace of play, or with regards to how easy this or that is, etc...)

It takes about 10 hours to finish but apparently I am 4% through and I've already been buggering around for about 3 hours with the new bikes and weapons and listening to the new radio shows.

The game has 17 new bikes, 3 new cars, 6 new weapons, a few new interiors.

Seems amazing so far.

Annoying thing is I have already lost Johnny's bike when I died. I assume I can order it off Clay?

Times like this I wish I went for the 360 instead of the ps3.

I always lost my bike but somehow I always magically appeared on one before the convoy started.

17 new Bikes really? I wasn't expecting it to have that many. I may have to buy it soon.

About 40% through it so far. Pretty pleased, its a good storyline with some nice additions to the original game as well as tie-ins with the original game, like Xendance said.
Like having to take part in the Mission with Niko and Playboy from the original campaign and seeing Niko in the introduction video etc

Pretty cool.

I've been playing (the original) for 40+ hours already and i'm only 40% through the main mission, by the time I finish it this should be out for PC too :)

Downloading now.
Is the download time horrendously long for anyone else? It's been going for 2 hours now and it's only 26% done.

Took me 2 hours to download the game - which is good!

When I downloaded San Andreas, it took ages.

Even in the credits, it crosses the original.

You see Niko and Roman arrive at the taxi firm and its on fire, and so they drive off.

You see Niko chase after someone along the rooftops, when he is then given the choice to let him drop or to pick him up.

You see Niko shoot Vlad.

Played an hour or so, it's pretty fun. Will play more later.

I finished it and it was good, but I'm disappointed with it's length. Definitely too short for the price, IMHO.

Also did anybody else go "WTF are you doing?" when

Johnny and Jim took control of the situation at Ray's restaurant and escaped instead of shooting the guy on the spot? I mean, that would probably collide with the fact that Niko kills Ray, but it looked stupid when they just legged it and then were all "oh shit, Ray's gonna **** us up".

Still waiting on my 1600 MS Point card in the mail... I'm surprised I haven't heard much more about the episode from more of you guys.

Yeah, I'm quite surprised there hasn't been more feedback on the forums.

I think people are just too embarrassed to say they saw a digital man's penis.

I just did the first mission with the pipe bombs and bugger me, it's difficult. I almost cried when I kept dying on the last leg of the mission and had to start again. What happened to the mid-level checkpoints that have been in every other mission of the game so far?!

My biggest complaint is the total rape of the free mode online which has now been restricted to FORCE off police, choppers and some other stuff that you cant now change.... its no known as restricted mode.

Got my first taste tonight of the new DLC. So far its been good, its nice to finally return to playing GTAIV again. The bike handling is a lot better, the new music on the radios are great, and the whole bike thing as a whole has been awesome.

My only peeve is riding around in formation as a gang, as cool as it looks it can get annoying if you're the one following Billy. But other than that, everything so far looks good. Right now I'm just about stuck on one mission:
The mission in which Playboy and Niko assist in the drug sale at the apartment building. I can always get out the building, but fleeing is a bitch... It's frustrating.

Everything else seems to be pretty good.

so if youve bought TLATD, do all the extra weapons/cars/bikes become available for use or discovery in the regular GTA4?

You fleeing from the back door or the front? The back door has a car and a riot van parked right next to it and more often than not, 0 policemen.

Good question actually. I haven't checked. It would be nice.

Yeah I flee from the back door, I have an encounter with a few swat but other then that, I always take the worst car to flee with. Last time I tried, I took a car parked on the side which had horrible handling, and with it raining, it wasn't helping. I'm sure I'll get it done later on, it's simple, but just a little frustrating.

I haven't checked either, the cars maybe but the guns I doubt since the only way to buy them is off the TLaD contacts

I'm kind of stuck on the shifting weights mission where you ride on the back of the bike with the auto shotty. I try it with full armor and everything, but get killed every time. It seems like I do a good job shooting all the police too. I don't miss very often. Starting to get annoying.

The mission where
you ride on the back of the motorcycle and shoot the shotgun
was fun as shit.

Nope. They don't carry over. Just checked. Shame :(

This mission was the best GTA mission ever. EVER. I have a save just before it so I can replay it whenever I want.

Having an XBox LAN party tomorrow and I'm going to insist everyone plays it when I go round.

That one and the bank robbery mission were the best, honestly. But it's basically the same as the end(ish) mission in SA, only in SA you get an SMG.

Finally completed it. Pretty sudden ending. Satisfying though.

The end credits are awesome. Don't remember them being this good for the main game?
