right after i tried overclocking it just a little at a time (from 263.3 to 267) i went to the internet to check on the question i posted about overclocking but when the browser came up it never made it to my homepage the whole screen just went black and when it came back on some parts of the screen were still black but most of it was color and nothing was responding, so it went black agian and when the screen came back half was black and then it went black agian, this time when it came back the screen was normal but everthing was really glitchy the windows were lagging behind, when i would scroll there would be a big delay. So after a minute or so a window came up saying that my graphics card was not repsonding to my drivers, and that original settings a being restored and that it needed to restart. This happened to me several times, having to restart it every time. So i finnally turned my comp. off and and just blew a fan at all my components especially me graphics card and when i turned my computer back on it was fine, i think. My card is a Radeon 9700 non-pro, does anyone have any idea of what was happening becuase im sort of worried that i might have screwed it up or somthing.

umm well im assuming that you updated to thenewest drivers? and you might be overheating, you might want to set it back to the stock speeds

well i did set it back to the default speeds cause i didn't want to screw anything up, and i do got the newest graphics drivers, but do i need to upgrade any other drivers?

you can try updating your motherboard drivers..but did you use drivercleaner to get rid of all your previous drivers?

no i didn't i just downloaded the catalyst and installed it with my previous drivers still on my comp. am i supposed to?
