Gravity Gun only Servers?

Hi everyone.

Im currently looking for a Gravity Gun only server. No offense but HL2DM to me is stale with guns. I once played gravity gun only with aomse friends and I loved it.

Are there any servers currently that have that?

Ok so Im running, HEY I see I guy, Ill get the jump on him. Hold down finger on the mouse button while aiming at him.

Wow that takes REAL skill to use the MP7 or whatever the hell the other guns are called. This whole game is about who has mroe HP, more ammo and who gets the jump on the other guy. It has nothing to do with accuracy, or ability as a player. Any n00b can do it.

With gravity gun only server it actually takes skill to be able to do it. So stop complaining, and stop acting like a 12 year old.

I didnt come here to ask WHY g-gun only servers are better, I came here to ask for some servers.

Moderators, would you kindly delete his flammatory post and deal with him as I do not believe going around the swear filter like that and flaming people is the kind of thing yo uhave here.

Having a few grav gun servers only as a bit of a fun mod would be nice. I agree with deathmatch being a battle of HP at times, but then all games are.

You are somehwhat right that overall hl2mp does not take much skill, but if it was gravity gun only it would require even LESS skill. picking up a big shelf and throwing it requires 0, zero, skill. Sure its cool too see how the physics work, but after 5 minutes it becames repetative and boring. Gravity gun only servers would only be infested with homo's and would kill the game even faster.

Yes it has to do with accuracy. If you don't have accuracy you wont hit him if you shoot way to the right of him.

This game amazingly does take skill with normal guns. Being real good at strafing can lead to amazing kills. If you Strafe always to the right the player will learn.

I usually do a heavy mixture of going left and right totally random which keeps me a live longer than standing still.

Yes, you are...almost right.
This also makes it harder against you. Thus skill would have to be built up not only to throw things but to protect yourself aswell and be able to dodge VERY well.

They both take skill, opinon of how much skill is an opinon. Maybe if you are insanely good with the grav gun you think it takes no skill at all and would rather use guns which use skills.

Maybe you are good with guns and think that the grav gun takes skill and guns don't.

Something it can be complete opposite.
You are skilled with the grav gun and hate guns so grav gun is alot funner using grav guns.

Well, if you guys can't manage to find any (If you do, post the IP address), you can always just say "Guys, let's have a Grav Gun only match." I've had some success with this, but, granted, it doesn't work very often in a crowded server because some douche is liable to end up using the rocket launcher.

I've never tried to create a dedicated server. Is there an option that lets the server creator only allow certain weapons, such as the gravity gun?
