let me just ask. Why the **** are people calling Numbers a fascist? How does supporting the protection of a country by even the smallest means, against a historically aggressive neighboring country make you a fascist?

Taking down tank barriers is not as efficient a means of peace negotiations as other methods. All it does it reduce the chance of protection if North Korea does decide to ever invade. Like North Korea gives a shit if they remove the tank barriers, they probably see it as a sign of weakness, the evil bastards that government is.
