You'll still have to pay around $200 for the 256bit version

yeah you're better off buying a refurbished 256-bit 9800p instead of that 128-bit garbage. you'll be sorry if you buy it, imo...it'll be much slower than the real 9800p's
 
i didnt even know they made 128bit versions of the 9800pro, i mean obviously theres the 9800se but that site says 9800pro, how odd
 
They must be trying to make people think the prices dropped and it's the real thing. But would the 128-bit 9800 pro still beat a 9600xt?
 
It would be similar.
The 9800pro 128bit has a higher core speed than the 9600XT and it has the full 8 pipelines (Just like the 9800 pro 256bit version).
The 9800pro 128bit just lacks on the memory access.
