Great radio show

heh I was going to say that but coming from you it carries more weight :)

I actually found Jerry Springer kind of enjoyable, listening to a little today for the first time. I also regularly listen to Al Franken as it fits my work schedule well.

i dont listen to any radio shows....lol.
if i had a car i would drive to my college and listen to them i suppose.

i used to listen to media player stations... from australia, canada and UK...etc

I've always found talk radio to be a great sea of insanity and bizarre viewpoints. Plus its about as interesting as dry toast in the middle of the desert.

Rush and O'relly are the only ones I catch on a regular basis. I only listen to them in my car to and from work. I listen to the rest whenever I am in my car and they happen to be on.

Alan combs used to have a show here, too. I got to the screener one day to talk about Hinzman's desertion.

The only radio I can listen to is in a bunch of languages I don't understand.

So no radio for me.

Seperated at birth. Oh, this Savage guy seems like a bit of a black/white politics jerkmonger. Seems much like the Kilroy of America. Which is a very bad thing indeed!

I listen to no political radio stations. I really don't see the point, because I'd either disagree and just get annoyed, or agree and learn bugger all. I listen to the unbiased Up All Night discussions on Radio 5 Live though, which are always good fun. They usually fetch 2-3 people with differentiating view points who then debate it out. The presenter is nice and moderate.

Rush I can stand since at best he admits his agenda. But please, for christ sake, do not listen to O'Reilly. Tell me you agree that he is a die hard republican, then I won't have such a problem with you listening to him ;). You have no idea how many idiots I run in to that watch O'Reilly that say he is a great independent thinker (all of them happen to be Bush supporters and Clinton haters, I wonder why).

I wouldn't say Die hard but he is far more conservative than liberal, that is for sure.

I haven't been able to catch the Factor in ages.

Anyone who doesnt find Michael Savage hilarious is just stupid. The mans brilliant. So are his books.

Rush is the most pretentious asshole on the air today.

"brilliant" is such a subjective word ...I'd say he was a raving loud mouth rabid righty who is blind to the realities of the world around him but what the hell do I know? I'm just a looney lefty

I wouldn't say he was rabid...now even tho he is a righty he is close to the center

He just seems rabid because he's a dumbass and has a temper.

Is O'Reilly all that different on the radio than he is on TV? I've seen an awful lot of his TV show (despite not being a conservative myself) and my impression has always been that while he's a definite conservative he also has quite a bit of common sense. I wouldn't say he's any guiltier of being an occasional jerk than any of the other pundits, and he always seemed a lot less grating to me.

Well, that's where I differ. I find O'Reilly to be so overbearing and slimy that I feel like kicking my screen in whenever I see him.

Apparantly very little

Listen to his show, he hates lawyers, judges, politicians - you name it, he probably hates it. Oh, and you are in no position to say that its bad to be "raving" one side or the other, because youre as uncentrist as possible.

I listen to Mike Reagan.

I'll catch Savage if it ever plays when I'm driving too.

Or anything pretty much on AM 720 Talk Radio (It's not all politics, but mostly)

I'm not really that into Rush Limbaugh

Well, that is what he tells you, over and over and over, sure. But holding yourself to be an expert on everything under the sun doesn't make you one.

Sorry, but I don't quite see how basically relying on calling eveyrone you disagree with Nazis is the height of genius argument. It's the height of laziness, lazy when liberals do it, lazy when anyone does it. And for him, it seems to make up most of his "act." Saying that the tsunami was probably God's will: what a classy guy! Mental disorder? Diagnose thyself.

I've listened to his show for quite awhile, I have not heard him once call anybody a Nazi, especially anyone he disagrees with.

If you changed the word 'righty' to leftie you'd get a pretty accurate description of more than a few people on the left too.

Alexdj, that's the only internet radiostation i listen to. i found in under my "radio" folder in iTunes. I freaking love that station. It's from L.A.. Morning Becomes Eclectic with Nick Harcourt is my favorite show. I have found sooo much cool music on there. it's my primary source for new tunes. btw, it's more independent, and definitely not that mainstream.

I always found Rush amusing. He invented the term Feminazi, and I recall him reviewing a book written about Dumpster Diving, and some advocates for the homeless saying that it was unfair that big stores were padlocking their dumpsters at night. Rush agreed that it was and said that the stores should install wheelchair access ramps too.

Sure you don't have him confused with Danial Savage the sex collumnist?

Mike Savage constantly compares or simply names George Soros Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's propagandist. Here's him talking about the Democratic convention: "Obergrupenführer Clinton; we have Grupenführer Carter; we have Brigadeführer Daschle..." He called Clinton's autobiography "Mein Kampf." During the Schiavo case, he kept refferring to Democrats as pals of Mengele. All I hear out of him is a litany of goofy comparisons to Nazis, Communists, and any other childish name he can think up. The man is a paranoid, off-kilter, loonybin.

That's funny, since it was Bush's family who did business with the real deal!

Just about everyone did before the war came along, including IBM. The major corporations of Germany of course did business with the Nazis, as did corporations in Spain and Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden.

I don't know the circumstances of the Bush family doing business with the Third Reich. I don't doubt it happened though, as a huge amount did business with them until the war started. And quite a few after it had.

Oh, and of course, comparing people to the Nazis is just old habit. There are newer, hipper, and flashier comparisons to be made.

"Al Qaeda is not the most intense threat to your freedom -- it's the American Civil Liberties Union." -O'Reily

Yes, because an organization that defends the right of children to have Bible quotes on their yearbook page is trying to strip you of your rights! and is much worse than an organization dedicated to killing you and your family!

Face it: these guys are just fakers: posturing loudmouths trying to incite an audience and sell soap by doing everything they can to get them all riled up any way they can. No one is this indignant and worked up and outraged about everything in real life. If Michael Savage was for real, he'd have a stroke after two shows of his ranting.

"Prescott Bush was an executive and shareholder of the United Banking Corporation, which bought the Consolidated Silesian Steel Corporation from the Nazi industrialist Fritz Thyssen, who had been employing prisoners from nearby Auschwitz. "

"The Bush family made a profit from the Auschwitz prisoners’ slave labour. Prescott Sheldon Bush, ‘Dubya’s’ grandfather, had tight financial connections with the Nazis, thanks to which he multiplied the family’s fortune as a banker."
