Great Sound Pack

I've been using it for a while, its really good
 
Ive used it, its real nice. however i get a weird sound when the usp reloads. its very strange anyone else get the same thing? other then that its the best sound pack ive used to date.

Yeah I get that - Kind of a screeching sound, rather wierd.

Anyway I LOVE this pack - It just rules the default ones. They are also much, much better than the fusion pack - Which makes everything sound like it's coming from a tin can...

Overall: 9/10 (the one off being the pistol reload sound)
 
does anyone mind posting a quick video of some of the sounds? i might be interested in this
 
Just dl it try it out if you dont like it simply delete the folder and you can go back to the defaults.


For the person who has the same sound glitch as me with the usp reloading sound, did u figure out which .wav it is so I can delete it??
 
Canuck I just deleted all the sounds for the usp other than the "usp-1" and the "usp-unsil" ones. :)
 
meh i just downloaded it to try it out and wasnt really impressed by it. The guns sounded too weak, and if you know anything about guns, you will know that it is not even close to being realistic
 
weak?? Oh dear, ah well - in my opinion all of the CS default sounds sound terrible. The AK sounds like a barking dog, the M4 banging on tables, the AWP a ****ing 105mm howitzer, the MP5 punching a bag, the scout dropping a rock in water.. etc.

These sounds are so much better in my opinion, but fair enough :p

I've never actually had any first-hand experience of guns (shooting etc.) but I've heard pistol and shotgun shots firsthand and these sound alot more convinicing. Take for example the Benelli in CS, it sounds like a rock crumbling. :LOL:

I installed Fusion Pack and I just HATE the sounds...

Agreed fully. I love this sound pack, except for the USP reload. :E

oh wow, thanks, i was getting annoyed with that screecing sound. Good to know what it is so i can get rid of it.

Love the sound pack.

I wonder if it is considered cheating because the footsteps are way louder?
 
very very nice replacement for both the original sounds and the slightly better fusion pack sounds
 
I had a different sound pack that somone posted on these forums. however there were few sounds they didnt cover all weapons, frags, footsteps etc. I did like some of the other sound packs sounds better but they were not very well done sounded like they came from a movie you could hear music in the background or something.

The game is relativly new persay, so there will be more sounds soon.
anyways this sound pack is a very nice change from the defaults!

has anyone figured out the single file that gives the usp the screeching sound??

yes it's the clipout.wav If you delete it though I recommend just deleting the whole usp sound becuz it doesn't sound right mixing the default reload sound.
 
Sry for bumping up the thread, but the download is gone... gives me a 404 error:(. I had the soundpack but I reinstalled the game, and forgot to backup the sounds. Can someone host the zip on www.yousendit.com plz?

I actually use the screwed USP sound to my tactical advantage...

And to tell where someone is, since my speakers can pick that loud sound up easy.

Great sound pack. I've been using it for a few weeks. To me the guns sound pretty realistic and powerful. The AK47 no longer sounds like an upset hound.
 
Seriously would someone be kind enough to send me the package sounds ? They sound so great!

No you don't, send the file to your own email adres. Check you email, and it should give you a link to download the file. Give us the link by posting it here. You'd be a god.
