Indeed. Quite. Mhhm.

"You have clicked on an invalid or stale link." :dozey:

I just sent it to you Dread, so host it up. Not sure why the YouSendIt methods I'm using aren't working.

Here, this link should work: Mercatorn Soundpack. It's on rapidshare, and I don't know how long it will be up, but enjoy while you can ;)

I removed all the usp sounds but the firing sounds due to a problem with one of them that was discussed earlier, and repacked the sounds as a 7-Zip archive.

I like the default sounds.

Are you all using a sub? Nothing improved CS for me like having a sub for the bass of the AWP.

I don't like the deagle default sound though. In fact...I guess I just don't like the gun. Too loud. I know it packs a lot of punch, but damn...too loud.

Because a gun is too loud you don't like the gun? Then you, uhh...shouldn't be playing CS...as guns naturally are loud.

On the count of 7-zip sucking ass, and the fact that rapidshare won't host it for long, I've rehosted it here:

Yes, because it's too loud. It gives away your position too easily. And with my aim, I need all the help I can get avoiding being found.

And guns aren't naturally loud. They aren't natural :p

These new sounds only affect YOUR computer. If you were to play on a different machine without the pack and shoot, it'll sound like the regular shots on the other machine.

Where the **** do i put these sounds!?.. the sounds folder in counter-strike source, has dick all in it.. the only "weapons" folder i have is in sdksourcecontent/hl2/weapons.. wtf?

YES they are nice, where do you put the sounds??? what folder.. i cant seem to find the folder with all the cs:s sounds!??

actually, it goes in cstrike\sound

OMG, THE SOUNDS GO IN THE SOUND FOLDER?? LMAO AMAZING!!

My thoughts exactly. The first time I made the .zip I included a small read-me explaining where to put the sounds, but then realized that it isn't that hard to guess where you'd put them. Oh well.

sorry I didn't laugh out loud at that, I was busy stopping my sides splitting from the guy who thought installing custom sounds on his machine affected how he sounded online ^_^

Quoted For Truth

actually, you said that there was nothing in the sounds folder, which i laughed out loud at, seeing every VALVe game since steam 1.0 has had all it's files in the .gcf, and you're Mr. Nubpants of the day.

Furthermore, don't call us assholes just because you're incompetant please. Put the folder in your sound folder, if that doesn't work, then your computer is laughing at you too.
