Well that was just it. "Shine your light on that zombie." So I aimed my light for the zombie, although nothing was coming out.

Nah, it was just some problem w/ ya graphics, so the AI just knew 'k, there goes the flashlight, TRIGGERS! ' so it basically saw something you couldn't, but you'd have had a problem, if the AI was in fact light-sensitive XD

The AI was at that point. The thing was, he just couldn't see his own flashlight. Every npc could.
