If Tarantino gets a poll, Leone sure as hell deserves one too.

So which Leone is the best in your opinion? My vote is The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, which is competing from greatest movie of all time -title with Godfather in my books. Truly awesome story, very simple yet so epic. I expecially love the Ecstacy of Gold -scene, very beautiful and the score is just amazing. Close second is For A Few Dollars More.

So which one you like the best? Take your pick from either trilogy. I'm guessing this will pretty much be a tight competition between The Good, The Bad And The Ugly and Once Upon A Time In The West.

Too many great movies in that last to choose... >.<

But I'll have to go with Once Upon A Time in America... classic de niro.

Once Upon a Time in the West.

If not for the story, or the acting, but for the fantastic camera angles. A lesser director could try those shots and they'd look self-indulgent. Here they just seem right.

Apart from that, there is very little to make one of these films better than another.

I hate Once upon a Time in the West.

Cowboy walks into a train yard, camera pans in and looks at him for 10 minutes. Second cowboy enters the scene, camera pans in for 10 minutes. Third cowboy has a fly on his face, watch fly for 10 minutes ....

... see the little boy run, camera tracks boy for 10 minutes. See the bird fly, 10 minutes later we see a bush.

Aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!!

Once Upon a Time in America gets my vote - great movie.

im a big fan of mob movies, i wasnt until i saw once upon a time in america. the original cut is a masterpiece, the theatrical recut is a travesty.

It was a tough decision for me between Once Upon a Time in the West and the directors cut of Once Upon a Time in America. They're both some of my favorite movies, but I've got to go with America. Absolutely loved that movie, it's in close competition with the Godfather. West is great too, and I loved it for all the reasons Warbie said he hated it, how it masterfully built up the best tension I've ever seen in a movie ... especially the ending.

never heard of/seen any of those.

:O

man ..every single action movie/game since the movies were released owe something to Leone's spaghetti westerns ..they're just that influential

A Fist Full of Dollars ..it managed to outshine the original
