Hey people, I used to draw a lot, but the last few years I just can't get myself to do anything, I feel completely useless, I feel a lot like Mr.Reak here in his thread http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=48267 , Anyways these last few days I was incredibly inspired by all the beautiful art work here, and yesterday(actually today really early) I began to draw, now I hope I will have more art work for you but don't count on it I have only drawn about 9 pics these last six years, I have never gotten lessons in drawing nor did I ever follow internet site, i do know about this site www.polykarbon.com but I just can't bring myself to do anything I just come there and look a little bit, don't even read and go, now for drawing you need patience witch I currently don't have and I sweat a lot. For some reason I just wanted to share that with you

Further more I prefer to do my drawings with one of those pen like thingies where you put a little like carbon core in em, cause they are always sharp, and if I do draw with a pencil I use those hard once, these drawing where made mostly by 2.5=Hb pencil( I don't know what that means but I think it has to do with the width or hardness of the pencil) and a simple eraser, I only used Photoshop after scan to remove smear and dirty parts of paper, I didn't enhance(except for the colour on image 1, cause that one is old and not a lot of contrast) the drawings in any way. I said this for all you people that know a lot of art so maybe you could say if I use the correct tools.

Anyways I also decided to post some drawings I made when I was young and little, I hope some more people do, you know we all had to draw once for school or so, so I would like it if anyone else could also post them cause I'm curious what you all drew when you were little and so.

Most of my drawing were not planned but an accident, I maybe saw some lines on the wall that looked like they formed a face and drew that on paper or on concrete or accidentally made some lines on the paper that had the shape of a nose, that looked real, that’s the way it usually starts.

Some of the images have dates some not, for those that don't I don't know when they I made them exactly. One image number (4) was made partly looking at scource all the others where either form memory or imagination.

In this one I drew wolferine looking at the comic, but instead of giving him features I decided to make him like the predator and to draw a lot of blood and ripped apart human.

But these images are so much bigger than I expected, you can see all the nasty lines and so, Isn't there anyway you could make the images smaller.

Secondly I tried to put a little easter egg on alyx, try to find it, its not that clear unfortunatly, cause the pencil point is to big to draw persicly that small of an object.

And thirdly, could you please also post some pics of what you drew when you were young, I really like to see what kind of a wacky images you made, now I feel a little bit embarresed, cause not only does everyone here drwa better than me they also didn's post from when they where naabs, so could you do it also to easy my pain.

And lastly, thnx for liking my fanatsy hottie.

Your asking me to post pics I drew when I was young.. There is no way in hell those things would even exist now, the paper would have probably disintergrated from age anyway hehe

Yup it was supposed to look like the HL2 logo, but it was late, my pencil was not that sharp and I worked under artificial light( for some reason I work better under sunlight and see a lot better)

Thats not my job to clean up your art.. otherwise it stops being yours and becomes mine.

Just resize them in photoshop or PSP or something.

didn't insult me, i was only part paying attention when i replied so it probably sounded like i was in a mood or something lol sorry

no, does'nt make a difference to the site if your linking them externally.. just resize them and copy them over the ones you have uploaded where you have thme now, using the same names and then just refresh this page and they'll all be sorted at the smaller sizes.

Well these files were linked to imageshack, and I don't think I can do what you just told me, here a quote from the FAQ:

"# Can I replace my images by re-uploading another image with the same filename?

No. In order to maximize security, any image that you upload will be renamed if another image by the same name exists on our servers. This means that if you try to upload image.jpg, and image.jpg already exists, your filename will be called image1.jpg. If image1.jpg exists, your image will be called image2.jpg, etc. This is done to prevent other people from accidentally or intentionally replacing your images. "

resize, upload as new names, give the links to some mod and when the mod gets around to it they can update your images above

but don't give the links to me cause I probably wont be able to get around to it for a long while.

Well lately for some reason I have been feeling inspired, probably due to the incredible work of the people here on these forums.
Anyways this is my combine assasin, and believe it or not this drawing started out as a stupid, pass the time drawing of Gordon Freeman, but then I noticed that if i made it a woman the shapes and proportions would be right, by accident I got them right, anyways the drawing took 2.5 hours, and 1 hour of that was spent on getting the eyes right, just to get them in the right place and not to different from one another, and still they are not really good, but its the closest I could get, I didn't get them right in the first sketch and doing them once the details were finished is a pain.
If anyone likes it, well feel free to color it if you want and have the time, be sure to post it here( this is not ment to sound as arrogantly as it does, I just remember that I used to do that with drawings of friends I liked and show them to them.)
