GT5 delayed once again (go f*ckin figure)

That was a lousy trailer. Wish they would've used some gameplay footage or something instead of stop motion toy cars.

I like stop motion.

Do you think they will include Ferrari, Lamborghini and other supercars finally?

I don't get it. They spend all that work on some really under-performing cars, but miss the obvious sports cars.

EDIT: They didn't even have the Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon in GT 3 and 4, and have never had the older model. These are $24,000 cars that can be souped up to do the quarter mile in 7 seconds. It's the perfect car for this game. DISAPPOINT.

EDIT

Well, I'm relatively happy. They've got a few Lamborghinis and Ferraris. And at least they've got the Eagle Talon, 1995 and 2006 Eclipse. They only have the front wheel drive Eclipse and it's got the wrong model name 'GT' should be 'GS-T' (I guess that's a Japan thing), but hey - they have my car. :D

I wish they had the Gen 1 Eclipse, and the 97-99 Eclipse GS-T & GSX. :(

EDIT
Oh, **** yes. They've got the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8

I would save up for that immediately, and then do a complete weight reduction/race modification to it (it's so crazy heavy @ 4140 lbs).

Pfft Brent Rau's car isn't as fast as John Shepherd's talon. lawl

I would buy a PS3, 360, and Wii, when they are about $99 - $119. Then buy a handful of the best games for those systems, used.

First car... can't afford much, I'd probably get my old RX-7 Turbo II for $7,000. Get some money together and .. hang on I'm eating.

Let's put it this way:

Rx7 Turbo II (1991) (First car)
>Eclipse: win all FWD events
>Dodge Challenger SRT8: all NA events, then put a supercharger and try to win all RWD events
>Citreon: all ~300HP Rally events, some AWD events

Special (awarded) cars to win a bunch of money -

>Lamborghini to clean up the remaining AWD events

not sure about light car/convertible, etc.

>Dodge Viper is a nice convertible.
>Special Citreon race car, if I can afford it, to finish the rally events, etc.

Not sure about all the game modes. What cars will you guys take to which events?

there ferrari 355 isnt there?

I posted a capture on the last page.. imageshack isn't displaying the full picture for some reason (maybe just on my end this morning). Anyway, I re-upped it to a different host:

No 355. ;(

That's all the Ferrari's. I only included the Eagle Talon in that capture because it was one of the cars I wished to see in the series.

If you like the 355, get GTR2 for the PC. That game has like 2 dozen Ferrari's (mostly just different liveries)

EDIT: Doesn't seem to be a livery editor for GT5. Very disappointing, for me anyway. Customizing the paintwork of a car is such a cool feature to have. Maybe GT6?

The new day/night option and weather features sound nice.

Can't you bring the PS3 with you?

While tempting, I'll be spending most of my time driving to families houses for Thanksgiving. I'll play the shit out of that game when I get back the next week.

You prioritize social relations over gaming?

Son, I am disappoint.

Nah, I jest.

I am still on the fence about getting this, I will wait for reviews and see what they think of the AI and B-SPEC mode.

Something feels weird about his hands, their movement feels very stiff when they "shake" as a result of the steering wheel's feedback.

But I don't use cockpit view when playing either way, since it limits ones FOV far too much.
