dude i think that san andreas sucked major ass. i hated it. i beat that game in a week. the other gta games took longer and were more difficult. why the hell did it suck so much. bad graphics to. the missions felt like doing little chores for ppl and it was not fun at all. i hate this game
 
I'm not sure whether to treat this as a legitimate thread or just spam. If you want my retort please refer to each and every review of the game that was published.
 
i hated this game i know it was suposed to be so good but it suck my white ass day and night for a week till i beat it
 
If you don't like it, don't play it. But realise that there is something wrong with you if you don't enjoy having a whole simulated city in which to drive, kill and steal.
Oh yeah - you're wrong. This sort of thing is normally subjective, but not whether or not GTA sucked.
Do you actually like ANY games?
 
WHAT! i dont know what that means dude but im stating my opinion. i was expecting something good. i play them for the missions and stuff. this game had no depth. i didnt give a crap about what ever your guys name is. the last mission was as weak as the rest of the game. i liked GTA3 better and Vice city better than that

I thought you were talking about the whole series. I wouldn't know about San Andreas specfically, sorry. I did hear in some places that it's not as good
 
i didnt lke the map. to big and to many places bare with montians and crap were if your car blows up there you have to walk. thats weak. easy as hell gameplay without cheats its no fun and if you use cheats its worse. um crapy graphice. sometimes it was so dark you cant see your car at all.

I think head crabs should stop complaining and just go play a game he likes. I also think that he sucks. I think that he is to big. I also think that he tried to not enjoy a game. I also think you like babyheadcrabs you sick wierdo.

Free Speech is nice to use, but do we really need to use it for every little thing?

Thats your issue right there, never expect it to be good, think its going to suck, because then it will be good to you, when you were expecting worse.

BTW, all of your posts are whining/complaining posts, have any issues you need to work out? :p
 
I don't particuarlly like the GTA games, but there's no denying that they represent amazing design and programming. I just don't like driving or completely pointless violence (which probably makes me a rarity), but I can see how it's such a popular series...
 
i personally enjoyed playing san andreas on my mates ps2 and am looking forward to getting it on xbox
 
hmm i remember playing gta 1 like 6 years ago... what a good game, now that game beats all of the other gtas
 
I loved GTA 3 and Vice City is superb, but i have to agree, i though San Andreas was shite. i got it for xmas and played it about 5 times...got about three quarters through the game and gave up due to bordem. It feels different, i dont like it. Empty, open, lonely, with no purpose and on the eye it looks awful. I think it about time they updated the engine or something cos i think its been pushed too far.

Adding new cars, planes and bikes, swimming, jetpacks and parachutes are fun, but gimicky after once or twice and its lost its appeal. The hydra on discovery was semi-orgasmic but it doesnt have thrust...its just the same as a helicopter, and doesnt get hardly any speed. Rockstar are lazy in that respect...harriers are supposed to be able to do the verticle and horizontal thing i think.
Oh and one other thing, the changing clothes and energy with food and muscle etc is so boring and lame. If i wanted it to be real life i'd play the Sims, i shouldnt have to eat.
Next GTA...we will we have to sleep / take shits (X for wipe arse) / breath (L3 for inhale, R3 for exhale) and we can't drive cars till we pass a driving test. Oh and in the one AFTER the next we start the game as a baby and we have to learn how to eat and shit ourselves.

Okay now im ranting, but from GTA i just wanna go on rampages and mess around. I don't wanna be fighting a helicopter and getting the controller vibrating cos im hungry...and i lose muscle...wtf? They've messed too much with it, keep the winning formula and make it look nicer. (which they won't do...moral is don't bother with anymore GTA titles) end. :(

I don't know why everyone keeps saying this but you are not entitled to free speech on the internet. It all depends on how much that website will let you say. They own it and they can dictate what you can and cannot say. That's why I always laugh when someone gets banned from somewhere for saying something stupid and says, "but I have freedom of speech." as their excuse.

The hydra is the fastest plane there is...all you have to do is flickt he right analouge stick and it changes modes from slow and hovery to speedy. Really speedy.

Once again I agree with Glenn.

I loved GTA3 and GTA VC was awesome since they introduced motorcycles, but I don't know if its becuase the PS2 is getting older technology or what but GTA San Andreas made me sick to look at. Ive said it before, it looked horrible, and the new gameplay they added it didn't pull me into the game, it pushed me away.

I don't think they should, or will abandon ship however, but the new project they are working on due out in '06 or '07 .. massively multiplayer Grand theft auto sounds awesome.
 
I liked SA, but I can feel the series going downhill. It feels like more of the same with a few more additions that keep me entertained just a little longer than the previous games.

I loved the feeling when I first played GTA3 and how you could do anything you wanted. I remember having little competitions with my friend to see who could live longest and do the most dmg starting from scratch. One time I was on foot running from a 2-star rating and was running behind some structure and cop cars would hit a jump and flip in the air over my head....man that was amazing.

Now it just seems like, blah blah, destruction...blah blah people dying. They did have some cool missions though like most of the missions for James Wood's character.
 
There's so many inventive things to do in San Andreas imo. All you need to do is take a quick bite and you can last for hours real time just messing around.

I personally think they have taken it to the next level, sticking with the winning formula won't get them anywhere. Thats what id did with doom 3, they stuck with thier winning formula from 10 years ago and it did not pay off.
 
the goverment banned GTA in my country so i haven't had the chance to play it and see the suckiness of it.
but, somehow my friend played it .
 
I don't own San Andreas, and didn't own Vice City either, but I've played quite a lot of both of them by means of whoring my mates' copies to death :D And I have to say I agree slightly with some of the negative posters...

GTA:SA was definitely a good game, but there was a hell of a lot wrong with it. It felt like they had to make some major graphical compromises in order to get the cities so big, the camera was openly homosexual, and there was too much emphasis on killing stealthily on foot, esp when that part of the game is most cumbersome. It's not meant to be MGS, let's face it. Some parts of the game descended to outright tedium (territories...omg what a pain in the arse)....but a lot of what was wrong with it was the feeling. Early 90's among "da niggaz" is simply not as fun as 80's with all its assorted cheesy/sleazy classical gangsters. SA seemed to lose some of its sense of humour, and the radio stations were utter tripe. Felt a bit hollow and not as fun to play.

However, as some people said, having such a massive play area to do whatever you want in is sometimes just fun, full stop.

Whats so bad about a silly game.

In every single action movie, a dozen mofo's get wasted.

I don't understand how a country can ban a silly game. Thats like banning movies like Die hard or real world war 2 footage.

What country do you live in? North Korea?

How did you beat SA in a week unless you played non stop and didnt do ANYTHING fun at all so.....

If you just concentrate on the missions, you can have it beat in 2/3 days.

It was just an idea i decided to test out, wanted to know how long it would take me.
