If you’re not going to E3 in Los Angeles, check out the GuildWars “E3 for Everyone” event. ArenaNet is letting everyone at home play the game with and against people on the show floor. Well ive set up my account and chosen my guy...Im a warrior/elmental guy called Farrow Le Sparrow

Its still downloading stuff though.

grrrreat. forgot to look up the controls and intricate bits.

the world looks kinda empty. graphics are a bit samey though. still trying to figure out out to send message :/
 
chat/options/adding friends is the little tab on the right hand side.

your char and stuff is the left hand tab.

damn i feel like a n00b..

Ive just done a mission where i had to kill some rogue elementalists...grrr. They were easy.


Edit:Should i not have seen some real people by now? Perhaps noone is playing but all this seems set up for singleplayer or something.
 
yeah i think it's just singleplayer. or maybe this is just the initial training stage and they'll unlock more stuff later on. funny, i've added you too but you don't seem to be online.

i'm currently at The Wall or some place.
 
My name is 'nobody important' (yeah it sucks, I'll make a new character when I come up with a better name). Have you tried going into the town yet? There are lots of people there, but most of them have wierd NPCish names.

Me too....Kinda annoying, i thought we wouold all play together. Would have been fun having all the hl2.net lot running around pillaging :D

I've met lots of NPC's and im doing mission for them. Perhaps you have to fulful a few things before it lets you into the game....i dunno maybe its just singleplayer.
 
Farrow! head for The Wall place! it'll lead you to another loading screen, next mission is co-op. i'll wait there. hurry, Everquest junkies are everywhere...

I just found out..I am in district 2 of this kyhlo place. Where are you?
 
check your map. i was at the Perilous North. on my way to the town now. you can just click on a place then select travel.

EDIT: i'm staing in Kyhlo for now.
 
Heh....Im heading back to the single player part. Where should i go from there?

Oh....What district are you in though?
 
course you can Shuzer. download the client.

apparently the friends list isn't working at all. try using the /tell command.

Ok so my computer just blue screened. I think i had best call it a night now anyway...Il be available for most of tommorow(Well...Today,Wednesday) to play if you like though.

Give me a page... I kind of have a few of the things worked out and I can fight decently now. It really is true that you need a well-balanced team to beat the missions... awesome.

i'm normally idling in the town, district 1.

the quests are average at best. just your usual hack and slash. played through about 3 quests, got bored, been downloading E3 vids since. i'll jump back into Kyhol in a few.
 
wow the friends list is working. shows you as being online. sent you a message. how far are you in the quests? i've just done the level with the catapaults.
 
add me to the friends list too, I still need to do the 3rd mission but I'm a pretty strong warrior. Have you guys tried the PvP arena yet? I played it and I kicked some major arse... won 5 out of my 6 battles.
 
ive done the level with the catapult but my connecton crappedo ut just as the 2nd rock hit the people.. lots of good drops too :( ill be on around 2:45 PST, my name is... ****les i forgot it, but ill add you guys.
 
Ok so im in kyhlo district 1. I cant find anyone...Badger sent me a message from you Dedalus but i didnt notice it.
 
i've managed to get to the last level, which unsurprisingly is bastard hard. there's these big fat blokes who hurl giant rocks at you. normally it'd be fine but your character takes around 4 weeks to recover from one hit, so if you get hit once....may as well accept that you're dead.

i'm gonna log back in once i've finished downloading these KOTOR2 vids.
 
I just tried PvP for the first time today... and it was surprisingly fun! It's how Neverwinter Nights PvP should have been... definitely has some pontential... as long as there's areas that take advanteage of all the professions' skills, it should be great! :)
