Well at the moment, your GF4 would definately be your bottle neck. The rest of your rig seems in tip-top shape.
Hercules is a fantastic brand. Reliable, polished, and generally has some nice features and software bundles. However, you might want to do one of the following.
1. Wait for the 9800XT and purchase that or
2. Wait for the 9800XT so the 9800 Pro prices drop (it probably won't be a big drop, however).
Heh yeah funny money.
But newegg has a Sapphire 9800Pro OEM @ 301$
and
CONNECT3D ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB DDR 8X TV/DVI RETAIL @ 329$
hell you can get a 9800Pro ATI OEM for 291$ here
But I would not buy these as they are the cheapest of the 9800pro's and may reflect that in the product.
When 9800XT hits the store shelves in good supply you should see prices going down. Then again 9800XT is 256mb and the 9800Pro is 128mb so they may not decrease prices that much as they are aimed at different price ranges. If they lower 9800Pro 128mb..what will they have at ~400$ range...9800 pro 256mb DDR2? who knows
Um no he means that the blue version is causing signal problems, and i can agree with that, it has some problems with my a7v8x, but i RMA'd it and got a new one, thats also blue... my 3dmarks scores are lower then what they should be.
yeh u can get that card in europe cos i got it in england, its cost about £250 excluding vat which boosted it up to £300. i should imagin that card is available anywhere around the world. well, except maybe those crappy countries like france.
