Hope you like it :) Tips/comments are welcome!

Very nice. Whould be cool to see some smoothing on the cover thing.

btw. Polycount?

:monkee:

Nice looking, but DAMN, that thing would be hella difficult to fire.

looks nice, love the Magazine...
looks slightly based upon the P90...

only thing really is that you'd need really long fingers to fire the weapon..

the grip looks really to wide both length ways and breath (SP?) ways...

but other wise nice...

oh and why does the flame-thrower type cover come off?

Hehe you are sorely mistaken. It's not a real gun. It's a design by Masamune Shirow of Ghost in the Shell fame. I think you may have been fooled by the AirSoft airgun.

I did a version of this a long while ago:
http://www.neotokyohq.com/sanjurocompact.html

A mod by some frenchies did one too:

I think yours is much better than theirs... Is it ready for animation? I.e. the slide etc?

It looks pretty good to me, but I have two things to point out. First, there is no reason to model the barrel area of the weapon. It's silly to waste polygons there. I can't understand why almost all of the weapons posted here have the inside of the barrel modeled, wasting at least a hundred polygons. I could see it on a Beretta or perhaps a Desert Eagle where it might be seen from the inside of the weapon, but for something like this, save your polygons. The other thing I noticed appears to be a rendering error around the cylindrical booleans of the front cover piece. Can we see a wireframe of that? It looks to me like there are a lot of messy edges all bunched up in that area caused by the booleans. I would dive right in there and start turning edges to clean it up a little, if that is indeed the case.

Anyway, two minor problems to an otherwise nicely done model. Good work.

the model is awsome, but im wodnering what did you use to render it? or what settings or however.

Im guessing BRAZIL R/S

Actually isn't it a prototype?

A prototype by a design of a C-series development team in SEBURO company.
It was developed toward a market of a full-auto hand gun as GLOCK18 and M93R.
There is the weak point that conventional full auto hand gun is too difficult to carry it.(Because the structure of magazine volume is increasing.)
It is development concept that supplement this by a bull-pup style that is uniqueness of C series.
A cartridge uses short version of 5.7mm which is used by P90.The 5.7mm compact is the bullet which has performance of original 5.7mm. Decreasing powder is supplemented by adoption of high compression technology and development of a sub-combustion binder.
By sub-combustion binder, muzzle blast looks like a stage gun.
This is why, a pet name of Compact-eXploder was given, and became a product name later.
A magazine volume is 30rd. There is a magazine of ten limits to the U.S.A., too .
Of course, a product for a general market is excepted a full auto function.
Because of a distance between rear and front sight, a laser sight is equipped under a frame.

either way, the model look great! I can't wait to see it in HL2 :rolling: :E

The company Seburo is a product of Masamune Shirow's twisted beautiful mind...

Here's the page where you posted a pic of the "real" thing and the sniped the qoute:

Did you miss the part at the top of the page where it says the original design is from APPLESEED by Masamune Shirow? Pretty soon your gonna start telling me Fuchikoma are real now too ;). Appleseed is a manga/comic by Shirow. Here's some more "real" (real cool any way) Shirow guns :D
