HAIIIYAAAAH first hl2.net Bf2 squad game (full version)

well today we finally had a real, 6 man (and even more people from hl2.net who were there) squad game... serious fun, thanks to all those who came.

some of the squad basejumping off of a tall building after clearing it from the bottom up.

this would have been an awesome shot, had I not fumbled at the prnt screen button a second too long. it was one of those, where everyone was facing the same direction and firing in positions, looked badass.

really wish I had taken more, we played for hours too... there were a bunch of us today, and we totally owned that clan server.. except for the round where I ate my tuna sandwhich... damn tuna.

Damn. I'm getting a lot more lag/choppy/low frame-rate issues than I had in the demo :(. Guess I'll have to wait a month or two untill I can upgrade my computer. I might be able to play with you guys as long as it's not a 64 player server/map.

that choppyness is all around bro, it's 64 player servers that can't handle that many players.

stick to 32 player versions of the maps for now, the 64 player stuff should clear up as the servers get tweaked and settled.

I've heard about how laggy the servers are right now, so it's not too big of a deal. But, even when I start my own local server to explore the maps, on the 64 player versions, I'm only getting about 15-20 FPS :dozey:. I think it's time for an upgrade.

I was playing by myself earlier... and after the round ended the guy's helicopter kept flying and finally made an awesome landing right next to the flag:

Something I didn't take a screenshot of (but I wish I did... even though a video would be better) was when I ran out of ammo from sniping on a crane, dove off to go get more ammo, saw an enemy next to a flag on the top of a building, floated over behind him, landed without him noticing, and killed him with my pistol.
 
That was such an awesome game. The urban maps were my favourite, especially the one with the squad base-jumping. They were just so intense.

what server do you guys play on? i've just been on a game with an amazing squad that actually worked together and proper dominated

We play on any server, get Xfire and follow us into a game.
 
It's killing me not to have the money for this game yet. A week or two more :O

That was a fantastic few hours of gameplay, truly top class work guys! (Zerimski, Redundant, Foxtrot and Suicide)
 
for the last 4 hours I wan on EA OFFICIAL UK #10 server omg............... that was awsome.........

i have the game, but i dont have my pc. its getting repaired.

the waiting is worse when you have a lovely shiny disc and box to look at :(

Playing BF2 with HL2.netters, and decent teamwork is amazing. We must do it again. Tonight. 5 - 6 oclock. Deal?

Heh, I'm in every one of those pics. (Yay for me.)

I also have some pics but only a few, and they're really not worth posting, just more of the same. Very nice game we had though. I'd like to do it again very soon.
 
Yeah, that was an awsome game last night. If I'm online you can count me in, I'm always up for a game with people from HL2.net.

Edit: Yes!! I'm in every one of those pics too.

Same here. I really need a new hard drive first though, my current storage drive of 80 Gb has only 4 GB left. :x BF2 might have to be a christmas present.

Battlefield 2 > whatever you have on your hard drive. Get rid of it and buy Battlefield!!

I will NEVER delete my large collection of movies and tv shows! The MPAA would have to send an army to take them away! :flame: But seriously, I have plenty of room on my main HD to install BF2, I just would rather buy it after I get a new storage drive. More RAM too, because I get constant HD activity while im playing the BF2 demo and it MAJORLY slows my game down.
