So ya I'm really into hairstyles. Been for a while and have gone through quite some myself.

Short Default
Spiked down the middle sides down
2 rows of spikes
3 rows of spikes
2/3 rows long
Then i started growing it out. Got it to my lower back.
Then i cut it, and layered it.
Now i want it layered and straight.

But I'm put in a position. Should i get Bionic Straightening/Japanese straightening or get a iron?

If i go with the 1st option its going to cost a shit load and i need to do it every year or so.

The 2nd option i have no idea what iron to get...Iv heard the CHI is good...

So ya whats up.

I suggest trying britneys new hair style:

Works great for the summer when your hair would usually get all matey and yucky, and during the winter you can try wraping a lock around your neck and hanging yourself from the shower head for making such a ridiculous thread. Seriously.

Now, now Hammer, no need to get high on pcp!

I like to have my hair in the "underachiever" style i.e. I haven't brushed in 3-4 years.

I finger comb it when I get out of the shower. Sometimes its short enough to not even have to do that, but I only get a haircut like once every 6-8 months. For example, its long right now and I just woke up, so its a mess. Solution? Wearing a hat.

My hair has always been dry and backward,foward-spiked, and I aim to keep it that way all my life..

I've always let my hair grow for about 6 months, then cut it short and let it grow again. This time around, however, I hope to grow it a little longer than shoulder length and keep it that way for a while (Robert Plant inspired this with the Led Zep reunion).

Short default?

Do you organise your look the same way you create a character in a game, clicking the arrows to switch between options?

My hair is always pink and shiny.

I don't do anything to my hair.
Win?

:<

Actually that sounds like some epic fail to me, sorry :(

Well - suppose it does beat the average compulsive hair-dying habits of the average American female. :x

My hair goes through different degrees of awesomeness depending on how long it is. I can never be bothered to get it cut till its really annoying me, and when i do get it cut, i have it cut short. American army short.

I pretty much only buzz my hair every once in a while because it's easy and cost-effective. I just can't be bothered to go get a haircut.

If I buzzed my hair I'm almost certain I'd look like a Mars Attack, I have a huge forehead. :|

Oh, well yeah I brush it and things, but it's naturally alright so I don't have to do much to it. Also I suppose if I'm going out THEN I make an effort and do something pretty.

I've dyed my hair a few times but it was fail.

This. Forever and ever.

I like it when men don't do much with their hair. I'm especially not into hair products on men. Mostly. Probably because it conjures up images of greasy wax-haired men.

Lets see . . .
0-15: Medium Length Straight Hair
15-18 Slightly Shorter medium length hair, short on the sides.
19-23 Short-Medium Length hair
23-24: Very short hair, shaved it once, cut my own hair.
25: Growing hair out & it's current medium length. I'm styling it for the first time in my entire life! Right now it has the semi-organized mess, slightly spiky look, though when it gets long enough I'll probably go a much different direction. It looks a lot better than what I'll call "bowl-head"

20days: Have it spiked an inch
10days: Grows too long, flatten it a little

then.. CUT/REPEAT

I get my hair cut in accordance with regulations. Makes life so much simpler. :E

I've had long(ish) hair for over five years now and looking at pictures of myself with short hair is weeeeird.
I prefer it like this, because you can be lazy about it and people won't notice.

I tried to dye my hair red once. I bought cheap, crappy dye, didn't bleach my hair (it's naturally blonde so I figured it'd be fine, because I had the silly) and it came out this really odd pink/red colour.
Thankfully, it washed out relatively quickly. I looked like a right dick.

No matter how I do, I always manage to get a Beatles hair style. I hate it.

Sounds awesome

I had mine short for a while, mainly because it was summer and hot as ****. Since then I've been growing it for the medium-long range and I'm almost there. As for the style, don't think it has a name but it does require a decent amount of clay / time. In short, the bangs are swept towards the right eye while the short sideburns are curved to help cover the ears. Part of the sides are slightly curled and the top + back are messy. Basically the 'flow' is towards the right side. My hair is naturally black with leftovers of brown highlights from a while ago.

...meh, hard to describe correctly but that's the gist of it I guess.

Just get a straightening iron, bro. You don't even need to go for an especially good one; I've used a 30-dollar Conair straightener for almost three years.
Quoted for truth.

Maybe I'll get some highlights this summer. Don't really know yet.

Ordinary, shortish brown hair. Normal. Not much to say. Boring? Nah, just normal.
Occasionally it goes really short whenever someone cuts it. Don't like it like this. Then spend 12 weeks growing it back. Then get it cut again. Viscious cycle.

Thought about dyeing it green over Christmas. Was one of the more off-the-wall things I've ever done; thinking about it.

Hair used to be rather short. But before that it was slightly longer. Before that it was really short, because I was bald. Because I was a baby.

My hair is greasy, uncombed and excessively long. I'm starting to look like Solid Snake:

There is diffenatly a difference in irons at least for men. Some of these things **** up your hair. And no i don't make my hair look greasy with hair products. As a matter of fact i haven't used any since i was 18. I just want my hair straighter then it is. Kind of wavy right now. Its hard to manage and it gets all over the place if i move around. Plus im not a fan of the regular short cuts 99% of guys have these day. I like to be more creative. Im going for a Raziel/Alucard/Basshunter look. Something in between all 3.

Well, how about you post some pics?

Now combine all those and you pretty much have what i want. Take the side of the last pic, split it down the middle like Raziel, Use the length of Alucard (which I'm still debating) and you have what i want. I'm still looking for some more reference shots.

Just use the 3rd pic and picture what i said above. When i said i was into Hairstyles i wasn't lying, i really am.

I grow my hair and they've crossed the butt region already - the length makes it difficult to style. I make braids and tails, mostly. Or leave them out. Change the parting.

Medium-long, unkempt. It works for me, so why change?

Medium length, centre parting, basically wash it and then either brush it, or straighten it if I'm going somewhere nice.
