ya this is almost a year old...thanks anyways though...and yes it would be very nice to have a benchmark PROGRAM so those of us who have already upgraded can find out what kind of FPS we'll get on hl2.

acually it makes perfect sense really, to release a benchmark program right now. why? well for one Gabe stated in the HL Radio e3 interview, that they have finished performance optimizations.

but anyways...i doubt they will be releaseing a benchmark program until either after the game is released, or never(might ship WITH the game too).
