Half life 2 Case mod! (no not "that" one)

I much prefer this case to the other, often-posted one. Much cleaner.
 
erm.. original but i wouldnt want one .. nicer than the other one tho .. the other one was wayyyyyyyyyyy too much
 
Very nice case mod. I love the way it opens up!
 
I dont know why you guys thought the other one sucked. I loved it. The details were amazing. All fake rusted and deteriorated looking. Great stuff.

ye it was nice but i wouldnt accept if some1 gave it to me for free. too fussy.
 
It'd make an awesome conversation piece! ehehe. Plop that bad boy right down on my coffee table.
 
They're going to be sad once HL3 comes out, and their case is outdated. :p

Then again, anyone who would actually mod a case would have bought a couple new sets of hardware in the interim.

This case is less cool then the last, but also less ugly. I say it's a tie.
 
That is pretty cool. More of a classic case mod, than the other decayed one. I like the smooth look, that decayed look one just didnt do it for me.
 
i like my case. solid gloss black, temperature gauge (blue diode that lights it up went out when my brother moved it, if anyone knows how to fix that, pm me. ill give you money if it works), window on the side, blue neon light (bass reactive), fans all light up pink/purple. all i need now is my radeon 9800 (i skimped on that part of my system to wait for the price to go down).
 
btw is that case made by the same guy who made the previous one.. cause i cant remember where i read this from.. but i remember coming across some1 saying that valve requested that the guy who made the previous case to make another for valve so they can use it to display the game and stuff.. you know..

i was just wondering if that was it.. or wether he is still working on it
 
Definitely nicer than that other one. the other looked like they dropped it in a pile of mud, it was nice but a little too far you know...

It looks like a big blower fan with the design of the HL2 logo incorporated into teh case design, Very nice! He should give it to valve or something to show his appreciation and maybe get a pre-release :thumbs: Anyways I would :bounce:

shipping to malta is pretty much a gamble .. but even if i loose a few things (rarely) its worth it buying from abroad.. you really have no idea how expensive stuff are here ¬_¬

oh besides.. thats a unique case.. if they screw it up in the shipping there's not much one can do

Not a fan of the new one. It's a nice case. It's innovative with the way it opens. It just doesn't scream Half Life like the other one does. It's too sterile.
 
I don't like this one...seems to be more of an advertising stunt for hl2 than a mod case. The guy overdid with the logo...especially dislike the mini green logo part with the big orange one. Good effort, none the less...I'd never be able to make anything even half as good as that.
 
i think it looks tacky, couldn't do it myself, but it looks a bit changing rooms.
 
this one i can actualy look at without wanting to give it a coat of some rust proof paint.

the other one just looked a mess, this one is neat and tidy.
 
I like the case that looks like it's all rusting and decaying. It's a nice case, that's for sure, but not as creative as the other one - I hope people know what I'm talking about.
 
Rusty Decaying one = Artisticly very nice.
+ New one = Engineering-wise very nice.

IMO alot better than the other one. I like the smooth curves and the colors.
