If you remember, there was no offical Half Life 1 Demo, but there was Half Life 1 Day One. Half-Life: Day One was called an OEM version because it was designed to be bundled with things like video cards, sound cards, and game controllers sold by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It encompassed about five levels in all. It included the game's full tutorial as well as the full cinematic intro. Multiplayer support and cheat codes were not implemented in this build.
That would be nice for those Radeon9800XT buyers (and all who get the leaked day one version )
