half life 2 dreams

any one ever crazy enuf to have half life 2 dreams. ive had one.

i was in this hospital like lvl, where i was being chased around by the creatures you see in hl2 ep2. the mini strider like things. it was incredible! there were like rebels running around screaming for help. the hospital lvl was so real! the two mini striders were running around blasting through walls of the very cramped hospital while rebels were being flung around. i remember having no weapon with me. awesome dream. one that I will never forget ever.
 
I had a dream once that the combine started invading the city i lived in. . . i knew when i woke up i needed to lay off the game a bit hahaha
 
I've had multible dreams about Halo. . .one of em invloved me keeping the covenent from killing the only coder who could finish Gundam Universe. . .which was a pretty epic mission.

HL2 dreams, usually somewhere around ravenholm.

And lately about 8800GTX w/ water cooling, lol :p

I dreamt about being a Zombine. There was a few parts about naked people, too, but the zombine part is more important.
 
Everytime i dream about HL its me getting shot in the head by a combine elite!

It's slow motion so thats kinda cool :D
 
Dont really have dreams anymore, and if i do, they are usually completely wierd and random.
 
I had a dream where I was fighting a bunch of the hgrunts from half-life 1 and the combine, but then a giant pringles tube fell from the sky and crushed them..... another one I was one of the combine guys and gordon whacked me with his crowbar, when I woke up in the dream I was on xen, and a bunch of mutated bullsquids were attacking.
 
wierd stuff but not half life. Although I don't often dream now.
 
Opposing Force meets HL2 meets Portal

I had a dream where I was in this huge cave kinda like in Ep. 2 video and a whole bunch of those Opposing Force 4 legged spiders were after me and they had purple lightning coming out of them but they never shot it and they were fast and could climb like real spiders and I had the Portal Gun but I never fired it.
 
Them purple lightning spider things, as you described them as, are scary.
 
Ok, I've remembered one. Me and some rebels with gravity guns were raiding some multi-story building. The rebels had these bombs which couldn't be handled by hand, so they were using the gravity guns to move them around. Then I met the bird (I think it was a parrot) and the vortigaunt killed it. The bird was in what I think was a hotel room.

Damn that was a weird dream.
 
I have alot of video game related, or just random dreams.I'm weird.

For example, I had a dream where I was riding around somewhere on the Coast in the Warthog from Halo and a pack of Houndeyes was killing fast zombines who were randomly running around.
 
Slug Advisor, you may just have the ideas that any mapper, including myself are looking for.
 
I had a dream that I had butt sechs w/ Alyx. It was hawt, but I didn't take pics.
 
I vaguely remember having a dream that featured the g-man and a Combine advisor...in a cinema.
 
since i started playing half life, i stopped playing halo and fear. now i keep having dreams where alma and a s**tload of grunts are chasing me, but then alma realises that the grunts are really cute. so she makes them explode.
then she explodes.
then everything explodes.
then i wake up.
and explode.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GO TO SLEEP DURING A FIREWORKS PARTY!
 
I also had one. I was starting in a cellar, walked out from it, out in an enormous concrete flooddrain or what they are called, and i drived the buggy, on the sides it was abandoned houses and factories, and i drived for a few minutes and just looked at the sides, then i stopped. It was so beautiful. :)
 
I rarely remember any of my dreams anymore, the only videogame dream I had was a doom dream. I bet a half life one would be fun.

Kind of off topic but has anyone else had the dream known as Old Hag???(sleep paralysis) if you dont know what it is google it.

I had a dream about a bridge, a big one. And some corpses and blood on it. Then a swarm of zombies emerges from the bridge coming to get me. I ran to a small shack and found an RPG (hl2 style) and started blasting them... and on the second shot, i woke up :(

And the strangest thing is that i haven't played the game for quite a long time when this dream happened.
 
I think I have a broken dream maker in my brain. I have a dream like four times a year, and only if I wake up early and go back to sleep. I love the weird feeling you get, but then I forget later. I have some crazy dreams though, I want some!
 
ALL THE TIME! Not soo much as playing it, or even having a weapon, but just living as a civ. It sukced of course, but they were realistic!
 
people who havent experienced half life 2 dreams are sad..its such an incredible thing. being in your favourite game dream..its so realistic and amazing..
 
I once had dream of Combine invaded Helsinki. I live in there, it is in Finland.

It was damn cool, I was driving away from Combines with heavily modified Lada. Then I ended to docks and I had Strider battle. But then I heard my phone ringing for wake up. Damnit.
 
I had a dream last night that I was (I thought) "in" HL2 Beta, except the parts cut out of the final game were of my own imagination. Then it turned out that it wasn't Beta after all; I just hadn't noticed that you could go the other way through a Combine fortification after much grenade-combat, and emerge out into a green field where a massive caterpillar-like creature with no AI was sitting still.
Then I met a woman but I've forgotten everything about what she was like, except that she was telling me to hide inside a farmhouse because of a weird monster following us. It was a bit like a huge corn dolly (but more skeletal), with long twining arms. It moved slowly but took long strides and nearly snatched us from where we stood.

Then, before or afterwards (I'm not sure) I was in a college trip with schoolfriends in a shopping centre (almost every dream I ever have involves a college trip in a shopping centre) and we went into a model shop, where I saw a fully-poseable Strider action figure, but couldn't buy it because we'd been in the shop so long that it had closed.

There was more, but it didn't involve HL2.
 
A hl2 dream ?.. why not.. I'll go get one tonight
 
Damn, I had one a few nights ago. I was an actual citizen this time though. It was like, back when the Combine were a bit less restrictive or something, so some people had houses, and good food, etc. And yes, no supression field -_-. But it was awesome until that same scene from point insertion came and they pulled up at my house, I got beat pretty bad :(.
 
I dreamt of metrocops on fire when i fell asleep during Eurovision Song Contest yesterday. They just kept doing that freaking animation!
 
i er.. am beginning to think that 80 percent of dreams here are crapped up lies.. :sleep:
 
I only dreamed of half life 1 once. and it was me talking to the gman. He said somthing about cheeseburgers upsized D:
 
I don't have any dreams pertaining to Half-Life but I did recently have ones where a white cat would just come out of nowhere and scratch the crap out of me.
