Is There Going to be more games for either PC or Xbox or Xbox 360 that use the half life 2 engine? (Besides Half Life 2 For Xbox Of Course) I wonder if it will become as widely used as the Quake Engine.:D

I think there is definitely going to be a lot more games using it, we just haven't heard of them.

However, developers may just be saving up for Unreal Engine 3, too.

I dont know if it will be as widely used as the Q3 engine, that engine was fantastic. But SiN 2 is already being made on the Source engine, plus the universal praise that the engine has got for its physics (I'm not sure if that counts as part of the engine though because its a heavily modded Havok physics engine) and graphics i'm sure it'll get some use.

Yeah. Correct me if im wrong but isnt HAVOK one of the best physics engines out there?

Yeah pretty much, but HL2/Source uses a heavily modded engine from my understanding, so its better then the standard HAVOK physics engine, if i remember right.

some ppl could use the intense stuff like they use in the lost coast level now that would be cool

Other than Valve stuff (Half-Life 2, Half-Life: Source, CS: Souce, DoD: Source) here are all the retail products currently being made for the source engine.

Vampire: the Masquerade: Bloodlines - First Person RPG based on White-Wolf's V:tM franchise. Made by Trokia (Now defunct), and is being supported with fan-made patches.

Unknown Arkane Studios Game - Arkane Studios, makers of the fantastic (IMO) RPG Arx Fatalis licensed the engine for their upcoming game, which could very well be Arx Fatalis 2.

Twilight War: After the Fall - Another RPG being made by Smiling Gator Productions, this is unique in that it's going to be a MMORPG. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.

And finally, SiN 2 was announced to be on the Source engine and distributed through Steam. An big official unvieling should be hitting the net soon.

Also, there's a MMORPG pirate game to be released through Steam as well, called Pirates of the Burning Sea. It looks like it has it's own engine though.

Not by a long shot. Meqon and Novodex are MUCH faster by comparisio, plus Novodex has support for the PhysX PPU coming out.

But neither one is in any game on the market yet, so Havok is TECHNICALLY the #1 physics engine out there.

Mods my good friend. Halflife 2 will have more mods than anyother game, because its a powerful engine, but Valve has made modding it easy. Combined with the way Valve supports their mods, and the fact that no one else, beyond Unreal (even then, theres not many mods), has as many mods, that all I can say. People will buy this game, still 10 years later, much as they still buy the first game.
