What the hell? Is this official? Where can you buy this CD?
And why more songs on this CD than in the game itself (I check Episode Two GCFs) . And how to match the track names up to the game MP3 files (song lengths don't match up and I don't have the songs yet).

EDIT: News! This is in fact real. It is a soundtrack CD bundled with the russian Orange Box fFeaturing both Episode One and Episode Two music. Read more about it here: http://www.en.game-ost***/info.php?id=729

Isn't this GREAT??

That is also Ep1 sounds, like the Hospital thingy.

Tracklist for Half-Life 2 Episode Two.

The tracklist corresponds with the order in the GCF (though not the exact numbers obviously). I'm trying to reorder them myself, so that they appear in the actual playlist order in the game (as they appear in the Episode One Soundtrack wiki entry):

1. Extinction Event Horizon (Train at beginning)
2. Vortal Combat (Vortiguants fight swarms of antlions in the turret scenario)
3. Nectarium (Cecil gets the Antlion nectar extract)
4. Hunting Party (Alyx and Gordon fight their first Hunters)
5. Shu'ulathoi (Alyx and Gordon find the hibernating advisor)
6. Sector Sweep (Alyx and Gordon face the combine and Helicopter the Advisor calls)
7. CrawlYard (Gordon in the autogun junkyard)
8. No One Rides for Free (Gordon and Alyx drive off in the upgraded hotrod)
9. Eon Trap (The siege at White Forest Inn)
10. Abandoned in Place (Gordon versus Combine in Secondary Silo)
11. Last Legs (Second wave of Striders in final Battle)
12. Dark Interval (Climatic scene)

I've not yet been able to place 'Inhuman Frequency', though I'm all but certain it is somewhere between track 1 and 4 above (i.e. in Chapter 1 to 3).

Okay, so I have come up with this table:

Episode One:

VLVX_song2 - Combine Advisory
VLVX_song8 - Darkness At Noon
VLVX_song19b - Decay Mode
VLVX_song11 - Disrupted Original
VLVX_song1 - Eine Kleiner Elevatormuzik
VLVX_song4 - Guard Down
VLVX_song19a - Infraradiant
VLVX_song21 - Penultimatum
VLVX_song12 - Self Destruction
VLVX_song18 - What Kind Of Hospital Is This?

Episode Two:

VLVX_song25 - Abandoned In Place
VLVX_song3 - Dark Interval
VLVX_song28 - Eon Trap
VLVX_song20 - Extinction Event Horizon
VLVX_song27 - Hunting Party
VLVX_Song26 - Inhuman Frequency
VLVX_song24 - Last legs
VLVX_Song15 - Nectarium
VLVX_song0 - No One Rides For Free
VLVX_song23 - Sector Sweep
VLVX_song23ambient - Shu'ulathoi
VLVX_song9 - Song 9 (looks like this one is missing on the soundtrack)
VLVX_song22 - Vortal Combat

So you can actually buy a Hl2 Episode Songs CD?? WTF!!!

So you can actually buy a Hl2 Episode Songs CD?? WTF!!!

no you can't buy it just yet (maybe if some russian dude sells it on eBay). it was bundled with the RUSSIAN version of The Orange Box. As in RUSSIAN only!

5. Shu'ulathoi (Alyx and Gordon find the hibernating advisor)
6. Sector Sweep (Alyx and Gordon face the combine and Helicopter the Advisor calls)
7. CrawlYard (Gordon in the autogun junkyard)

I'm not certain, but haven't you mixed 5 and 6? Shu'ulathoi plays after the Advisor has fled, if I remember correctly.

Also, I believe CrawlYard is the Track played in the Zombie Pit (Where Alyx is sniping).

Shu'ulathoi is the ambient track that sets up the scene, Sector Sweep is the funky piece that we originally heard in the last Episode Two trailer. I'm pretty sure I've got them round the right way :)

You may be right about CrawlYard though. I wasn't 100% that I heard it in the Junkyard... I just assumed I did for some reason :p

Looks like I got those two mixed up then. Thanks for the clarification!

Sector Sweep, Vortal Combat and Self Destruction are easily the most kickass tracks ever composed in a video game.
