Half life 2 for christmas...maybe...

I dont post much, but I just thought you would want to know this.
My brochure for "GAME"s christmas list just came in the post, and in huge writing at the front was "Check out our fantastic selection this christmas" and their where four pictures of game boxes at the bottom, and one was...you guessed it... A case pic for half-life 2.

Just though it was interesting to note. Please realise that I am not saying it will come out by christmas.

they will probably have been printed a while ago. Game has said a number of different dates over the months, I think their just picking them out of a hat now.

It's mentioned in Gameplays christmas brochure as well, along with Far Cry which is scheduled for 04.

It's probably just something to get you into the store near christmas, find out it's delayed til April and you'll buy something else since you're geared up for a new game.

'maybe' is what I'm hearing. Tis all rumors, but they come from someone that might actually know something, and has absolutely nothing to gain by spreading false rumors. It came up tangentially in a conversation I had with a business associate (and no I won't say anything about who, nor do I care if anyone believes it.)

Personally, I'm not getting my hopes up, if they make it before Christmas YAY. If not, there's still plenty of games out to keep me occupied in the little free time I have right now.
