There's going to be a big graphics update eventually, after Episode 2 comes out. Be patient.

that wont reallly effect older games much. except dynamic shadowing i would think

if im not wrong, dynamic shadows in ep2 are going to be rendered differently compared to like those in fear, doom 3 ect. rite, ue3 rite?
