Half life 2 maps directory

i've copied some maps into half life 2 maps directory, and now i can't get the game running...
i want to remove the maps, but i don't know which ones are my maps, and wich ones are the original..

Could anyone plz write which files is in the maps directory of half life 2 in steam.. or maybe send me a pic.. ?

If you would look in your hl2 maps directory, you would see that it only contains custom maps that you downloaded and put there. Just delete it and you'll be fine.

Built-in game content is stored in the GCF files elsewhere and cannot be modified.

Are you sure about this..? it contains some bsp files.. is that the maps i putted in there? ..?

Yes, the maps in half-life 2/hl2/maps are not there in a fresh install. You must have added them.
