I have finally finshed Half Life 2 Mod Source, link is http://hl2mod.gamingsource.co.uk. i will be hosting mods and updates for hl2, as well as giving support to thise who are desiding to create a mod or edits. PLease take a look and reply with constructive critism. Thanks, Raven

Great site! But I think the secondary fire for the M-29 OICW is a grenade launcher.. Not sure though..

imo having a policy of not advertising other sites is undermining your own position. At the moment Halflife2.net is seen as the 'official' hl2 site, it's the community leader. By having other sites advertising here you strengthen that image as leader (much like csnation did back in the day) and therefore your position with the community. By not advertising you are simply one of the others trying to attract visitors.

But the thing is (as was seen with that other site advertised recently), the content may not meet with the standards that this site sets (spoilers, "beta" download links etc.). So if they ask before they post, it gives admins + mods to check the site out so HL2.net isn't said in the same sentence as those sites

Yep, thats why.

This site seems to be OK beceuase of it's not supporting mods of the stolen files policy :thumbs:

Well as you have seen we have a policy that we will not deal with any mods or versions of the leaked hl2 source code. i have the mod database finished and i will open it as soon as the official game is released, until then it is mod news, and helping the community. Also it is not phpnuke, i designed and created the php code and layout myself.
