It's hugely petty stuff, alot of it's traced back to our positive views such as release dates and the zero tollerance policy. But I find hl2.net somewhere with hugely filtered stuff. The admins really have a good turn around on keeping dulplicate posts and banned posts nicely controlled.
The simple fact that flamming posts about other sites are quite simply not tollerated.
Websites are on the net and virtual, if someone wants to pick a fight over virtual space then they are fighting nothing.
I personally have problems with other sites staff but I'm not gonna wash dirty laundry, It's pointless.
Excuse any typo's, I kinda hit my head at the pub tonight.

Awww You probably looked into the Flame forums yes the forums are notorious for bashing. That there is allowed. Yes and a lot of people do speak there mind there and sometimes take it out on other people in other forums threads. But who cares right not like were going to meet them. SO cheers :cheers:

Andy Hodges has a history of lying to everyone and banning people who say otherwise, along with deleting the evidence. He has done this since he ran a Half-Life league called area51live. Later on A51 turned into the RCL, and claimed to have over 20,000 members. The membership fee was $10 to join and he claimed all that money went into paying for a grand total of eight or so servers. Now, unless the servers cost $20,000 a year, he's bullshitting. I'll go with the bullshitting option, and lo and behold we have proof! After a bunch of us got banned for counting how many members were actually in the league, and yes it was so small that it could be counted really quickly, we decided to take a closer look. So someone used a site ripper and "hacked" the site, copying the entire database. It turns out that there were only about 300 member profiles, which leads me to believe that there were only about 300 members, makes sense right?

What BlazeKun said is 100% correct as well, I was in the IRC channel that day and listening to the radio (I was Battery, I remember you being there Blaze).

What else has Andy lied about? Just recently he said they were giving E3 tickets away and that they would have more news the next day. The next day? No new info. The day after that? No new info. So now it's E3, and there was no more mention about these "E3 tickets", infact, the thread claiming they were giving them away was deleted!

I can look on their site now and see they're claiming to have interviewed Gabe, while members on their forums are claiming to have been listening when the interview was taking place and there was no interview. Those posts were also deleted. Posts on other forums (the catacombs) claim that they were just talking about the E3 video on the radio, and that was the supposed "interview".

What else are they claiming on their website now? Exclusive screenshots and video. I see no screenshots and I see no video. There is, however, a video on the internet of E3! It's on Fileplanet! Now, excuse me if I'm wrong, but doesn't exclusive mean that no one else has it? I'll run over to www.dictionary.com to find out. According to said website, exclusive has the following definition. "A news item initially released to only one publication or broadcaster". Oh snap! As to the screenshots, well, they have photographs of E3. Since when are photographs considered screenshots? Oh, nice setup there HL Radio, a laptop with a piece of paper taped to it in a visitor's lounge.

Do I need to go on and on, listing off the website designs that he has stolen as well? He has stolen content from the CPL, the steam website, and countless images and content from many other websites. You've witnessed this yourself.

I'm not sure how the HL Radio staff that were around during the A51 days stick with Hodges after seeing all the bullshit that he spreads. Maybe they just want some e-fame.

Don't believe everything you hear guys. Everything knows that we gave away E3 tickets, went to E3, did exclusive interviews with Gabe Newell and a variety of other companies.

Once again site bashing will not be tolerated.
Once again if you have an issue with another web site then take it up directly with their administrators. If you have specific problems with the way these web sites work then it does no good to any body if they're aired in public.

Aricanius, you have been banned as it seems you have only signed up for one purpose.

Whereas we have had issues with Andy Hodges in the past and some of these doubts may still remain, and they may have reservations about the way we do things we will no longer tolerate our members publicly bashing other community sites. Think what you will of us, and think what you will of Andy Hodges and his community but don't use, what we endeavour to make a friendly community, to spread tales and animosity.
