Thx some words were missing but it seemed they had a problem with the story lol.

+ very realistic outdoor environments
+ many details in indoor rooms
+ pin sharp textures
+ even runs good in high resolutions

Ambiance:
+ human-like modelgestures and facial expressions
+ phenomenal 5.1 sound effects
+ levels look very real
+ remarkable attention to detail
- a bit hard to see through the story /* I don't really know how to express that one, but I think that's kinda right; meaning that the story is very complex. */

Gamedesign:
+ each level plays radically different
+ excellent designed levels
+ comprehensible A.I.
+ physics affect the gameplay
+ large complexity, but thrilling until the end

Multiplayer:
+ neverending gameplay
+ meaningful designed levels
+ new graphic effects which look pretty nice
- some slight problems (blocking objects)
- doesn't include all the Counter-Strike maps

System requirements:
minimum: 1.500 Mhz, 512 MByte Ram, category 2 /* looks like they divide the graphic cards into different categories, not sure though */ (GeForce 2, Geforce 4, or similar)
playable: 2.200 Mhz, 512 MByte Ram, category 3 (GeForce 4 Ti, Radeon 9500/9600, GeForce FX 5700/5900, or similar)
optimum: 2.700 Mhz, 1.024 MByte Ram, category 4 (Radeon 9700/9800, GeForce FX 5900/5950, or similar)

PC-Games is from Germany, but i found the pro and contra-list on Gamesfire, it`s a swiss website, yes, but the print-mag is from germany ;)

No it's a German Mag, it's just being sold in Switzerland too.
Actually I think what they meant whit that is like that it's hard to fallow the story because it's a bit hard to understand. But that's just a matter of taste I guess, loads of ppl don't like some movies neither because the story is too complex.

This might mean that it is not very obvious and clear not so much that it is complex.

"comprehensible A.I." means that the AI acts logical and is not doing stupid things all the time ´=)

did either of you guys read the article? i know they were not talking about hl2mp because the critique specifically mentions counter-strike:

- doesn't include all the Counter-Strike maps

It's possible that the magazine posted it's own requirements, because Valve's ones are really BS. Alot of game companies bullshit their requirements, and it is extremely frustrating when you have a computer similar to the minimum spec and it runs like absolute crap. Take Battlefiel 1942 for example. The minimum reqirement says 128mb RAM, which is just a lie. That game is barely playable on 128mb.
