Half Life 2 questions...

It's a widescreen resolution, so isn't it available when you change the Aspect Ratio setting to "Widescreen 16:10"?

Try this:

Right Click on HL2 in the Steam Window and select "Properties"
Go to "Set Launch Options"
Type in the following:
-width 1680 -height 1050

Click OK and start the game, it should run at that resolution

Hi guys...

I`m back.

Well... I finished HL2 a couple of days ago.

It`s gotta be one of the best games ever, really impressed by it.

Liked the story... loved Alyx lol... and overall just very impressed by it.

10/10 from me. The blue grav gun has to the best weapon ever!!! Excellent to be able to pick up the combine etc and just toss them for miles lol...

A couple more questions though...

First off, I`m gonna play it again so I can explore places I didn`t explore first time round and try to pick up all the ammo etc too... maybe not for a wee while but I was wondering how I`d go about saving my save games incase I want to use them again. Is it just a case of making a backup of the SAVES folder?

Plus now that I`ve played it once, if you guys have any good tips on places to explore or things I may have missed etc then please let me know.

Plus what are easter eggs?

Also just downloaded HL2 Episode 1... so I`m looking forward to giving that a bash too.
